The XDefiant team is committed to building an inclusive, encouraging, and competitive environment for everyone. Our number one priority is ensuring playing our game is the highlight of your evening, not ruin it.
With community at XDefiant’s core, having everyone feel supported is valuable to us. Our Code of Conduct is a manifestation of our community vision.

Code of Conduct

Unapologetically supportive
Everyone was new at some point, even you! Be mindful of Defiants who may be new or are still getting into the groove. Turn it into a learning opportunity while being courteous, respectful, and helpful.

Rebel against toxicity
Inclusivity is a core pillar of the XDefiant community vision, and we welcome everyone regardless of their age, race, gender, nationality, sexuality, or disability. Discriminatory language and hate speech are unacceptable within our game, our online spaces, and offline.
As a player, you are responsible for your actions and will be held accountable for them. Ubisoft takes a firm stance against any form of toxicity. Behaviors that intentionally diminish players’ experience, such as Bullying/Trolling/Throwing/Feeding/Griefing, are ban-able offenses.

Intransigently Fair
XDefiant is a competitive team-based game which relies on teamwork to win, and therefore we strive to uphold competitive integrity. Anything with the purpose to gain an unfair advantage disrupts the experience and is incredibly damaging to the community. Buying, making, distributing, or promoting malicious 3rd-party software as well as abusing glitches or misusing game systems is forbidden and will result in an immediate ban.
Exploiting a broadcaster’s live stream to gain an unfair advantage, also known as Stream Sniping, is also strictly prohibited. Stream sniping can ruin not only the experience for the streamer, but for their community and other players in the match as well. We are committed to providing tools to help mitigate this.

Violating the code of conduct is a serious offense and XDefiant will have no tolerance for those who actively try to ruin the welcoming and competitive community we have built. If you have discovered a player in-game or on any official XDefiant sanctioned platform in violation of our Code of Conduct, you can report them through the Ubisoft Support system here.
Publicly naming and shaming players you think may have breached the Code of Conduct, also known as witch-hunting, in our official Forums and Discord is strictly prohibited.

These guidelines must be followed when participating in activities associated with Ubisoft’s products or services, both on and offline, by everybody – including partners, employees, and yourself! This document supplements Ubisoft’s Terms of Use. For more details, please refer to our terms here.

Thank you for making our community great!
