Why isn't the fact that you need to own the season pass to play Aiden and Wrench made clear in the store? But you want to drop this, cool, I understand...I'd probably be eager to drop something I couldn't properly make my point on as well.Originally Posted by RobertEmerald Go to original post
As for the condescending bit, when you insinuate that because you consider yourself a "hardcore gamer" and anyone that didn't understand what you erroneously consider as being clearly stated as being a "casual gamer", that comes off as being condescending. I hope that clears things up as you freely admit you seem to be understanding things differently...guess you've got some of those Kellyanne Conway "alternative facts", maybe?
Now you just belittled me 3 times and insulted my intelligence in that last post and couldn't just let it go like I did. I would like to thank you for recommending Shadow of War, otherwise I would have never purchased it. Now, as they say, all good things must come to an end. Now take your alternative facts and shove them where the sun don't shine. Take care and good riddance!!Originally Posted by secretzrus Go to original post
To be fair, I only belittled you once and didn't even try to insult your intelligence at all. Huh, guess you were right...sometimes people really do understand things differently. Go figure.Originally Posted by RobertEmerald Go to original post![]()
What an incredibly condescending thing to say. It was absolutely not clear, which is why people are confused. Don't talk down to people like this, there's no reason for it except to be rude.Originally Posted by RobertEmerald Go to original post

Season Pass includes:
A major new story expansion with two episodes,
Extra Dedsec missions,
Four iconic heroes with unique abilities including Aiden Pearce,
And access to the original Watch_Dogs® Complete Edition!
What part of... FOUR ICONIC HEROES INCLUDING AIDEN, WRENCH, MINA AND DARCY do some people fail to understand? It's for season pass holders only. This is the last time I'm posting this, as this is not a social network where we are trying to compete to see who has more pretend friends, nor a popularity contest. For those that wish to play mob rule, then by all means, proceed to your echo chambers. I on the other hand, will just use my trusty ignore option. Lastly, don't tell me what to do and who are you to decide what is and what is not condescending?
"For those that understand, there is no necessary explanation, for those that don't understand, there is no possible explanation". You go your way and I'll go my way!
This guy made posts in another forum and is looking for a fight. I just checked his posts and it lead me here. Now that I read this thread, I realize he's a troll.Originally Posted by secretzrus Go to original post
I dunno, what part of you can buy Mina from the store separately from the season pass and use her in story mode and online do you fail to understand? If you can do that with one character, why would people not think they could do the same with Wrench and Aiden, especially when it doesn't say that in the store? If a precedent is set, people expect it to continue unless expressly stated otherwise and in truth, Ubisoft failed to do that.Originally Posted by RobertEmerald Go to original post
We get it, you love this game...spoiler, so do I. The only difference is I can see the minor faults and be able to call them out and still love the game.
Wait, who? Me?!? I'm looking for a fight??? How do you figure?Originally Posted by KrayZee_ Go to original post![]()
No, not you. RobertEmerald. He posted in my thread in another forum here and he's looking for trouble. I called him out and all of a sudden he's talking about 'gummy weed spammers, all other spammers, all liars, all narcissists, all delusions of grandeur and those that live with ignorance' and I'm part of his ignore list for literally no reason whatsoever other than by calling him out. I'm quoting him. I read this thread and he's writing something similar here.Originally Posted by secretzrus Go to original post
Ah, gotcha. Well, I haven't really seen Robert post anywhere else but here and usually he's harmless. He's just rather, shall we say, overly passionate with his love for this game and the defense of it against any and all criticism against it. Normally it's nothing to get worked about, just this time he got a little condescending and dismissive about the matter when in this case, clearly he's on the wrong side of this. Ubisoft did not make things clear about Aiden and Wrench and how one had to have the season pass to play them in any mode other than the DLC story...if one can already play Mina, also a season pass character, in all game modes after buying her from the store, it's only reasonable for people to assume you can do the same with Wrench, Aiden, and the upcoming Darcy.Originally Posted by KrayZee_ Go to original post
Ah well, at least Robert isn't nearly as bad as that KmarkoPL dude...he's just a little too rabid in his defense of Ubisoft.
And I thought I got that titleOriginally Posted by secretzrus Go to original postI suppose the fact that Ubisoft are willing to upgrade people to the season pass shows they realise some people haven't understood. So it's all good.
My reasoning is, with Ubisoft and other gaming companies. If they didn't go to all the massive effort and work to make these games, then we wouldn't have them to play.
And they have been great for keeping my mind stimulated, especially during lock down. So I try to see things from both perspectives, the gamers and the game developers.
I was talking to some people complaining about WD2. I realised in some ways they have gone back in the direction of WD1 with Legion. Both set in cities, darker and more intense than WD2, and obviously bringing back Aiden and Jackson.
