So, the new hero looks very cool and also very powerful.
The only thing in that kit that I already see issues with is the downstance.
It looks similar to Conqs zone attack except its far superior and can cancel recoveries like mushas reworked blade blockade.
So its blade blockade + conq zone and it also goes into long chains that can bash and mixup.
On top of that, the feats look to be as broken as Gryphon's and Warmonger's.
This hero is going to break the game for a short while, like many heroes on release lol.
I foresee nerfs to how long his downstance lasts. If the duration were shorter, I could see it being fine.
Feat 1 gives bleed to all hits. Feat 2 heals on hit. Both are passive, last 10 seconds, activated by superior block (downstance or opener light/heavy) and can be infinitely refreshed to last forever.Originally Posted by TrondurIGotu Go to original post
Feat 3 is a manually activated combination of feat 1 and 2 and is also refreshed on superior block.
Feat 4 can trap more than one enemy. The video showed 3 being caught simultaneously.
I don't think he needs a nerf he looks balanced to me. He had a stance that is literally almost simliar to Shaolin so that's fine. His dodge attack is good as well similar to Orochi but with out the undodge attacks. Everything seems fair to me I think he just needs more chains or a better dodge attack.Originally Posted by MrBdur Go to original post
His stance is more comparable to Musha blade blockade, Nobushi hidden stance, Conq full block, Warlord fullblock, or even Conq's zone attack.Originally Posted by DeeFautBoi34 Go to original post
Shaolin stance is more comparable to Highlander's OF.
Kyoshin downstance can be used to cancel attack recoveries and it lasts a surprising amount of time. It can only be stopped with bashes or GBs but it has quick access to attacks that can nulify a bash or GB attempt.
No you can GB him out of it. The comparison to Conq exists because you can stay in his stance forever since it can be held and it has superior block. The stance itself does not do damage.Originally Posted by Csodaszarvas_G Go to original post

Also, it's way better because he can cancel attack recoveries with it like Aramusha's Blade Blockade and can also manually attack out of it with special moves like Nobushi's Hidden Stance.
I wonder if hes gonna be more superior in 4v4s than 1v1s thought they might change it up a bit. Also I wonder who's gonna be next in Testing Grounds!!Originally Posted by MrBdur Go to original post
