Hello,
I have been playing co-op with a friend of mine on Splinter Cell Blacklist for the past week and have suddenly been unable to connect to the Splinter Cell Blacklist servers for several days now. Anytime I connect, I receive the message "The Splinter Cell Blacklist service is not available. Please try again later."
After reaching out to Ubisoft Customer Support THREE separate times, the issue has still not been resolved. I followed all of the troubleshooting steps even though nothing changed on my side network wise between now and when online was working several days ago.
It seems like there is an issue on Ubisoft's end even though the status for their servers show that it is up and running. It looks like several others have been experiencing the same problem as well based on my research.
Is anyone else encountering this problem??
My friend and I have been playing Splinter Cell COOP beginning back in the Chaos Theory days. Blacklist is 1 of 2 games that we both play together because my friend lives out in the sticks and has only Sat internet. The lag he has with Blacklist is high but manageable. For the last 3 days UBI Connect server service has been "Unavailable," for both of us.
I contacted UBIlost yesterday via Chat and they said the Blacklist server was up and running. Which it is not. The game even says it is not running when I try to connect. It was chucklesome, when there was this 10 min of nothing while the Rep was looking up how to respond to a down server. Like expected, the Rep sent me an email on instructions how to connect like the problem is on my side by checking my router, antivirus software, ports, proxy so forth and so on. I know its not on my side when my friend gets the same "Service is not available," message.
Blacklist might be another UBIgivingusyourmoney game that is added to the growing list of titles removed from the Udon'tPlay servers. RIP Splinter Cell.
I have the same problem ... the game takes me out every 30 minutes and I cannot play cooperative because the servers are not available ... I contacted the support team and they told me recommendations that they did not work for me ... it is known if the servers no longer work? Or are they in any maintenance ?, When will the servers be back?
Some years ago(approx. 2017-2018) I was rushing in SC Blacklist with friends, but one of them had some issues with connection. I mean, we could play only PVP, but no co-op with her. I've opened it yesterday(17.07.21) and I was surprised that we can't even go co-op nowadays. We found out that ports are opened, but there are no IP addresses given through that ports and that means the servers are down. So yeah, I guess we won't be able to go online anymore, but who knows what shall be afterwards(tomorrow, or even when there appear Splinter Cell 7)?
P.S. Sorry, my Eng is too bad :)
This is just a technical error on the side of ubisoft servers. This problem appeared about 2 weeks ago before that everything worked fine. At first I thought that ubisoft had stopped supporting servers Splinter Cell Blacklist, but I could not find any information on this, so I think ubisoft will fix it.
