I say do that. But make "Siege 2" into "Pro-League Siege". Put all the bland lighting, dull remade maps, and e-sporting "meta" changes into THAT version of the game.
Then take original Siege and revert all the operator gadgets, abilities, stats, and functionality back to Year 1 status. Ditto for the maps, weapon recoil, the sights, the shields, the lighting, 4 minute rounds, Terrorist Hunt, the debris, and so on. And make it "Tactical Siege".
That way the e-sporters can have 'their' version of Siege to quibble and squabble over all they like. And the original paying customers can have BACK the Siege that was stolen from them, so we can have FUN again.
i will miss the good old days when everything was as realistic as a tactical game should have been.Originally Posted by Slyrr7 Go to original post
Yes, and since nobody (not just Ubisoft, but the console manufacturers themselves, among others) can do nothing about the cheating epidemic, I suggest the next game be PvE, in the style of Rainbow Six Vegas.Originally Posted by Idahou Go to original post
Also....NO aliens. No Call-of-Duty/Valorant wannabes. Just gritty, tactical, FPS, with some randomized objectives and enemy behaviors (for replayability). Of course, Ubisoft doesn't listen to what fans of the Tom Clancy games want...so Extraction and XDefiant will fizzle out rather quickly. I mean, they've fizzled out for me already, and they haven't even gotten here yet. Why? Because I'm a fan of the at least semi-realistic counter-terrorism shooters, of which there are very few (especially on console). But, Ubisoft won't make one. They are deaf in one ear and can't hear out of the other.
Good thing i don't waste my time crying about toxic people when i can literally mute them or not play casual so i dont have to deal with a mode that no one cares about how they play in or just move on with my life because its a round/game/match. Also i dont believe itll solve ALL the problems but a good handful that would make the game better to play.
