    Ubisoft is destroying T-HUNT

Longtime-Farmer here. I have recognized that ubisoft putted great effort to nerf thunt, and especially earning renown in thunt. First of all, the renown cap has been changed from 50k overall renown to 20k PvE and 30 PvP renown. That alone had a huge impact on renown farming, since it more than halfed the amount of renown you can grind each day. And you can see the impact on the renown farming community too, almost everybody quit farming because of that major nerf and you have a hard time finding players to farm with.

But thats not the only reason why renown farming is so depressing. The Renown/ per match amount was also drastically decreased. Before the terrifying Favela rework, which I will critise too, you made between 350-400 renown per match with full booster team on favela. Now you make about 250. Thats about 35% less, and im not saying that you should set it back to the old rewards, but that nerf is just out of proportion.

Last problem on my list. Favela rework. Dont get me wrong, the favela rework was really needed since 80% of old favela was out of soft walls, and it definetly benifited the PvP modes, however.. for T-Hunt? There is basically on upside on the rework for PvE. Favela was THE main map for renown farming, even more popular than house, after the rework, its pretty dissapointing to farm/play on favela. I would suggest that the old Favela should be either playable as a seperate map on thunt (night-mode please), or the old map should replace the rework on thunt ONLY. I and an unbelievable amount of farmers knew the map in and out, spawn points, hostage points, and so on. The pace really decreased after the rework, its not that easy to get inside the building and out, its just completly different.

And the last thing I want to say is, for those players/developers saying that renown farming was overpowered. Take a look at the "t-hunt-community", if you could call it community. Nobody plays t-hunt on a regular basis, except the farmers. There are so many strats on how to perfectionise farming (time and renown outcome), without the farming-community, there is really nobody who regulary plays it. If you join crossplay thunt, you often end up with lvl 1-10 players, or players who cant communicate at all, not even normal chat. its the farming-community which keeps thunt alive, and thats the very thing ubi is trying to kill.

For the longest time my entire tenure with Siege was T-hunt, but it isn't because of renown farming.

Although I will admit, the renown rewards are hideous.

Ubisoft is removing renown farming because cheaters are using it to level up on alternate accounts. They listed this reason yesterday on a Q and A post over on reddit. There are also apparently now plans to remove Terrorist Hunt/Training grounds completely as Ubisoft no longer want to divert resources/money to keeping this mode up to date, rather to focus on PVP instead. Sadly, the Terrorist Hunt community will need to look to Rainbow 6 Extraction instead, which is the new game's target audience.
