And yet again, it doesn't matter, whether we see eye to eye on it, Valkyrie is an important asset to the defenders and her having the ability to gain Intel by being able to throw her camera outside is important to the defenders for certain sites on certain maps, without her and the useage of her cams, you get stuck with shot out default cams and no Intel as to how to defend the site from attackers and give the team access to angles that some default cams won't provide. We need one of two changes.
1. They fix Valkyrie as I have stated above. OR
2. IQ needs to be reworked where her gadget is no longer under her pistol and instead built as an extra Scope onto all her main weapons that can only be flipped up four times and only works for 6 seconds each time, if a player flips the gadget on and then flips it off after 3 seconds then that flip will count as a single use out of four times.
Which one do you think they'll choose? I'd be surprised if they didn't choose the lazy route.
And nerfing Valkyrie but getting rid of the trait that makes her gadget important only leaves the defending team without Intel regarding sites with breachable walls or door ways leading outside, and the suggestion you made for IQ would only be a nerf to an operator that's already under picked, if she it to have her gadget be on her primaries, she shouldn't be limited to just 4 uses considering that her gadget is also important but instead to keep her balanced without making her gadget overpowered in the event of a gadget rework would be to eliminate it's ability to detect electronics through unbreakable floors and walls and limit the range so her gadget maintains it's effectiveness without making things unfair for Pulse and Vigil Players, as well as players on cams. But over all if you want to properly nerf Valkyrie, you need to nerf her weapons or utilities, not the gadget itself, simply removing her Nitro Cells would prevent her from being able to eliminate attackers that are trying to look for her cams, considering that she already has impact grenades, so again if you want to properly nerf Valk, it's either her weapons or her utility, not the gadget, and if the Nitro Cell adjustment is not likeable to the community then the only change that can be suggested would be a weapon nerf, but one that won't put a detriment to Warden, and at least a small recoil nerf or ammo nerf
If Valkyrie gets a nerf I think it should be that her C4 gets taken away, because her guns are avg and we can't nerf a weapon that belongs to other Ops as well which wouldn't make sense. Also another Op should take Valkyrie's C4, hopefully Alibi would get Valkyrie's C4 and Alibi should lose her 1.5 Scope as well.Originally Posted by hadesorso928 Go to original post
