I really hate to sound like an armchair film maker but I just figured out what was missing (for me)...
One, their is no cold weather breath...actors breathing out mist/condensation.
Two, in the aerial shots we see a low valley fog which disappears at the ground level shots...
Three, flames around the airplane exhaust and maybe light clouds flying by the fighter (flying through)...
If you over-lay a light fog/smoke or snow over the final shot it would tie together the final composite of animation and live action...
Nice work...I'm paying attention (in a good way)![]()
I really respect people who try something creative.

Thanks man for your positive input. If I ever make a "cold" movie again I will see to implement your suggestions.
Your question on the budget: Besides some back drop cloths, old ww2 British grey coat and bits and pieces here and there I would say about $100 but I can use the stuff again so it is a kind of an investment. The man-hours are the real cost and I would say about 200 of them.
I do appreciate your time to give me this feedback.
Keep well!

$100...that's inspirational.
It really is a wonder what someone can do with a computer and some talent (these days).
