Homeopathics! I couldn't for the life of me remember what they called them in 5. To my knowledge we've seen no indication they're back in FC6 though. I used to use the super sprint one in FC3 once in a while because you could literally run as fast as the jeeps with it. And I remember using deep dive a couple times (there was a relic where you HAD to use one to get it). In FC4 and 5 though, I barely used them. The speed boost was nerfed and wasn't nearly as beneficial as it was, and the super strength on in FC5 was fun to goof around with once or twice, punching cows or whatever, but I rarely thought to use them and I think that's because the effects were sub-par or pointless.Originally Posted by KrayZee_ Go to original post
If they had a slo-mo syringe, I'd use it all the time. I'd actively seek out any components needed to craft them and I'd keep myself fully stocked like I do snake oil and thyme big game in RDR2. I love slo-mo in videogames. Give us fun, useful homeopathics and people will actually use them. Don't waste sections of the item wheel with "oregano" which was the most pointless thing I've ever seen take up a segment on an item wheel, why did they even waste a spot with that?
I understood the necessity of having only 4-5 plant "types" in FC games but each had at least two different species. While FC4 ditched the botanic entries, it kept the multiple plant types. Would have been nice to have those be used differently but New Dawn and its 4 plants surely led the path for more simpler use than ever.
Most people who played Far Cry 3, 4 and 5 don't really use syringes and homeopathics that much. In Far Cry 5, crafting homeopathics with harvested plants have specific names now and they're no longer categorized as colored leaves anymore. Perhaps it was too redundant and they didn't bother to put as much effort as they did in Far Cry 3 since these buffs were not used by most players.
They kept the efforts in 4 and Primal though. Primal was the most detailed in such things we had yet. Environments, animals, plants... Most diverse and well crafted.Originally Posted by KrayZee_ Go to original post

Having light survival mechanics creates like a mini meta game, which creates a sense of a working economy within the game that the player can intersect with…
I just find it more immersive generally.
I was playing horizon zero dawn today.
And when you turn off the HUD with that game, it has everything that I’m essentially talking about.
You don’t need any mechanics that are gonna be too intrusive or stuff that will put off casual players. But on that game in order to make health potions you have to hunt animals and get certain types of meat, in order to craft healing potions.
I had been damaged in a fight, wounded, and it created a wonderful period of tension as I stealthily moved through the world trying to find and hunt an animal with which I could then make a potion to heal my wounds.
I mean I wouldn’t even turn what you see in horizon zero dawn this light survival mechanics. It’s essentially just a health mechanic.
But nonetheless I think it grounds the experience and makes for something more immersive ….
I was playing PRIMAL yesterday. Such an underrated FAR CRY game. Fantastic experience on Survivor Mode.
I still would love to see a variant of this mode in FAR CRY 6.
More scarcity of supplies in the world — with larger traditional weapon and ammo supplies only found in heavily guarded enemy compounds. Offering a risk reward tactical consideration. Further emphasis on scavenging supplies in the world and off dead enemies. It would more focus on relying on crafted weapons and creativity to overcome the enemy.
Medkits would be less available, so again more focus on crafting herbal remedies or sleeping to replenish health.
Because when you think about it — a guerrilla war is all about supplies. It’s the prime focus.
There is no infinite supply of ammo and other resources!
You can’t have a revolution armed with rocks and sticks….

Hmm there is one practical example We can request some kind of campsites like it was in GRBP where we can remain on tactical maintenance for individoal ration preparation and replenish ammunition check the condition of the equipment prepare a medical package to eliminate critical effects you can also sleep there
