- The drone can jump
- The drone can have a maximum of two projectiles ready at once (slowly recharges once fired, like a Twitch Drone)

- If an enemy is hit in the body, the device clings to them and over time will slowly ping their position, until the device is removed by the target (like a Gu mine)
- If an enemy is hit in the head, the device clings to their face, covering much of their vision and slowly pinging the target, until removed
- Drone cannot leave building
- Projectiles do not stack their tracking effect if multiple hit the same target (one at a time)

Background
“For so long, others have helped me through my times of need. It’s only fair I return the favour.”
Ayesha “Widow” Varma had lost her husband in 2015 to a small-scale earthquake while visiting family in Nepal. Suddenly, she was left to care for her teenage daughter, alone. Thankfully for the two of them, her brother, Advik “Blindside” Varma, provided the heartbroken family with a place to stay, which allowed her to continue her University studies in Engineering. However, a new opportunity presented itself in 2017 when the SSB opened to accepting female volunteers for training. Ayesha immediately took great interest in this rather fresh opportunity, and despite her rocky start she made incredible progress in this new working environment. For years, she would learn to communicate, locate, and track among the frigid Himalayas and India’s mountainous North, rather than the streets of crowded cities. Not long later, Ayesha (Widow) took to participating in the NSG’s arial attachment, where she would partake in multinational disaster relief and eventually engage in local counter-terrorist operations. Especially throughout her more recent missions, Ayesha (Widow) would enjoy putting her creative engineering to use, usually while being a frontline spotter for spotting both victims and hostiles. She quickly built up a reputation as an incredibly selfless and collaborative asset to any team she is involved in. The remarkable feats and lengths she is willing to take on her missions would eventually catch the attention of Rainbow.
Psychological Report
From what I could find, Specialist Ayesha Varma (AKA: Widow) is a person who is quick to react when she needs to, with no restraint to speak of what she deems true. She is a woman who works to show no shame in the line of work. In fact, she came to me to suggest her operation name of “Widow”, saying she liked the ring of it. But in reality, I knew she wanted the loss of her husband to not weigh her down, by having him be a part of her character, of who she wants to be. Today, I can say she had made the right choice to speak true of how she saw herself, for nothing I could come up with would be as fitting.
I am glad that Varma has easily found some comfort in Team Rainbow, having rather quickly found a sense of community with some of her fellow members. From what I can tell, Specialist Tori “Gridlock” Fairous proved to be a fast friend, for both had had trouble in their pasts caring for fellow family members, but even more so from Ayesha’s expressive, outgoing personality. From Tori, she got introduced to Max “Mozzie” Goose, whose work rapidly caught the interest of this engineer. She would often talk with Max on his Pest technology for hours on end, until she invited him to help her in the creation of her newest gadget, the Tarantula Drone. Today, the two continue their work on improving her gadget, much to the excitement of Max.
She clearly struggles to let go of her built-up emotions and regrets from her less-than-ideal circumstances, though she refuses to let them get the best of her. She still feels that she owes her younger brother, Specialist Advik “Blindside” Varma, for all the financial support he had provided her and her child with all those years ago. She even jokingly remarked how he had convinced her to join him at his shooting range, where she would fire her first ever shots. By the end, she said she did not want to stop, but respected her brother’s wallet too much to ask for more bullets. We had a light laugh, but her smile was quick to leave her face. She clearly puts past problems upon her own shoulders but uses them as motivational drives to better herself in the present.
I learned there was more to her respectable nature when I asked her if she would share her most proud moment in the field. She told me of a time she had heard cries coming from a broken-down hut within a flooded village, where she found a woman her age, trapped under the broken roof. In their eyes, she had seen herself, and was more than proud when she reunited the woman with her overjoyed husband mere minutes later, something she was never able to do with her own spouse years ago. By the end of her tale, I could tell she was getting somewhat emotional, but not in a negative way. Nonetheless, I decided to not press her any further on the incident.
Ayesha takes great respect, effort, and time into her work, for she actively puts her mind towards providing a safer home for her nation of India and its people. Unfortunately, this has led to some heated feuds with Specialist Jaimini Kalimohan “Kali” Shah. She feels her fellow operator has left behind her home and people to make a name for herself on the seas, rather than stay to improve life for the people of India, a nation they used to share. Though not to the same extent, I have noticed similar tension arise from her brother, Advik, as well. I can only hope they all learn to accept each other’s differences, but I can’t be certain they will mellow out completely.

Corner Shot
Is equipped with a Corner Shot Rifle, allowing the shooter to fire at a target without directly looking at the target, by bending the embedded pistol left or right.
Difficulty: 2/3 Speed: 2/3 Armor: 2/3
Info on Corner Shot:
- Takes place of primary weapon (essentially a Glock with slightly better accuracy from being on a rifle body, and maybe an extended magazine)
- When activated, he snaps the front of his Corner Shot rifle 60 degrees to one side (left or right)
- Allows the user to shoot around corners, the sides of windows, etc, without immediately exposing yourself.
- While activated, pressing the B button will change which way the weapon is bent (left to right, and vice versa). B button can also be pressed when ability is not active to change which way the Corner Shot bends when activated.
- Deactivate ability to straighten the Counter Shot (when deactivated, Corner Shot can be used just like an ordinary rifle, shooting forwards).
- Due to also being a primary, you can change between a couple of sights and grips on the Corner Shot.
Counters/Restrictions to the Corner Shot:
- Takes up your primary weapon slot
- Often requires the assistance of teammates to utilize gadget to full effect (ex. to prevent Blindside from getting flanked while holding a corner)
- Gadget is difficult w/ vertical play (up and down), due to the gadget being turned left or right
- When checking a hard angle, you may still need to expose yourself to get a good shot
- In quick responses, equipping secondary or using knife is faster than disabling gadget on primary
- The end of the gun is easy to notice when in use (ex. around a corner, you can see the muzzle/barrel pointed in your direction)

Background:
“You would be surprised by what you may find just around the corner. I’d rather not take that chance.”
From a young age, Specialist Advik “Blindside” Varma has had a strong hatred for the radicals of his nation, who disrupt his beloved nation with their needless violence and terror. Once finished with his high school education, he almost immediately signed up for training with the SSB. Once completing his training, Advik was selected to join the NSG, where he would regularly engage in counter-terrorist operations throughout India. He would often take the lead in these ordeals, taking the fight to the people he feels such negativity towards. During this time, he would gain a liking to his most used firearm, the Corner Shot Rifle. When his sister Ayesha was selected to join team Rainbow, she made them aware of her brother’s own talent and accomplishments in the city streets of India. Thanks to her sister’s words, Advik was put in Rainbow’s spotlight, where he was eager to give his all and was quickly put alongside his family once more.
Psychological Report:
There is plenty to be said about Specialist Advik Varma (AKA Blindside), for he strikes me as a man who has carved a path for himself to follow and to put his life toward. And despite his rather impressive achievements in the field, he continually upholds an incredible level of humbleness, only beaten by his unending loyalty towards the people of India, in particular his family.
Advik “Blindside” Varma is the type of man who both in life and work, never leaves a stone unturned. He does not like it when you leave his thoughts unanswered or set a problem to the side for later. By the end of our analysis, he asked if I was certain that I had no more questions for him. While initially displeased, I can certainly appreciate a man who is thorough in his work. Afterall, no one likes to be left uninformed.
For having such a strong leadership role in the field while in India, his new placement on team Rainbow had initially left him somewhat uncomfortable. I initially assumed it to him being introduced to a new working environment or becoming more well-known than he could ever imagine himself. However, he informed me on how he feels he can not help his fellow citizens when he is off doing business elsewhere in the world, and how he does not want to leave behind his wife and niece when he feels he has left his job unfinished. I decided to tell him that a safer world would lead to the safety of all, including those he cares most about. Telling him this seemed to cheer him up enough to proceed our meeting.
I was somewhat surprised to hear Advik say he has some personal experience with the GSG 9, from international drill exercises with the NSG. During one trip in particular in 2018 he had a fair exchange with Elias “Blitz” Kotz and Monika “Iq” Weiss after a collaborative exercise in Bremin. From what I can tell so far, reintroducing Advik has already sparked some bright conversation between these past acquaintances. With his ever-increasing attitude and booming confidence, I would be shocked if he does not get along with more of his peers in the coming years.
I have seen the great cohesion between Specialist Advik “Blindside” Varma and his sister Ayesha (Widow), both on the field and in their lives in general. Now, I am interested to see how they will perform when placed against each other in training. Doing so, they will play to their strengths with new allies and progress in their respective teams. And a little casual rivalry would never hurt a family bond as strong as the one shared by these two siblings, especially with as level-headed an individual as Advik involved.

PS: I think Operation Blinds and Binds sounds fun (because of the 2 operator’s relations, nicknames, and gadgets).
