Shinobi and Orochi are so broken

I may just skip the rest of this TG. I'm happy knowing that they are removing OS's but holy crap are Shinobi and Orochi ever unfair duelists. My god.

Shinobi is a little overtuned. Specifically sickle rain on GB and wall splat on backflip kick.

Orochi is definitely a lot more fluid but definitely not overpowered. The bash the among the other slow bashes and can be consistently reacted to. Once everyone gets used to him I think he will be high C tier.

P.s. a lot of people mistake unfamiliar with overpowered. Minus the shinobi change I mentioned, once you adjust you'll do fine against them.

Dude. Orochi is literally broken. His dodge lights aren't giving light parries, so he is harder to punish than he should be. What made you think I had an issue with his kick? Lol

For Shinobi, sickle rain on GB and splat from the ranged attack actually. Both guarantee a sickle rain.

They are both hopelessly broken for these reasons at high level as everyone instantly recognizes these things and abuses the crap outta them with ease.

I am fully aware of the difference between "unfamiliar" and "overpowered". You would notice, however, that the word I used was "broken", not "overpowered".

I think their kits are both great. They feel good. Fun to play as and against besides the broken bits that will likely get fixed for the official drops.

I'm just saying that they ruin the TG for duelists who just want to experience an Option Select free duel. Lol

Both their damage profiles could be pulled down some. But I tend to agree. Orochi is by far and away a solid middle tier hero in both duels and also dominion.

Shinobi is a mangled mess of good and awful. He's excellent at harassing and turtling but falls apart outside that. He's still is forced to poke with lights and zone to do damage from neutral.

Like it's good that he can kick from single dodge now. But considering he gets **** all elsewhere with his dodges (both single and double,) it's very easy to just roll on dodge/orange. Like. Stupidly safe to do so.

I have disappointments with both reworks but at least they play better than their live versions. Enough that I don't want anything close to their current live stuff. Raider on the other hand is only sadness. And I'd rather stick with live, issues and all, than play TG raider for the next forever.

Remember that the dodge lights are probably a heavy parry from just rushed coding. Im sure they will be light parries on release. Also you don't need to clarify between broken and overpowered. Literally potato potaato

Be it bugged or not I'd rather they become heavy parries with light hitstun and do less damage than stay light parries with the damage they do now and have light hitstun.

If they will be heavy parries, they must not be undodgable.

Shinobi is just straight broken with the wallsplat and gb, but if they are evened out, it will probably be okay.

I'd say one nerf at a time with Shinobi or history might repeat itself. I would start with removing wall-splat from the ranged heavy. That way Shinobi would land fewer Sickle Rains and could be fine after that.

I think Orochi is in a good spot at the moment and doesn't come across as overtuned. He/she is just good in the right hands but once people get used to the kit, Orochi would need a buff like making the recovery cancels on par with Tiandi and Zhanhu.

Nah they can be undodgable. I'd make his side dodge lights light parries again because those are not as important to his kit flow as his riptide strike and lightning strike are. You'd mainly be using your side dodge lights as punish tools anyway so that would be more fair for a wrong read situation.

    Orochi:
1)Every attack he has deals 2 less damage to compensate for guaranteed light.

    Shinobi:
    1)Guaranteed light deals 1 damage.
    2)No sickle rains from GB.
    3)No ranged heavy wallsplatting.

Then they are ok in my opinion.
