Which heroes benefitted the most from this TG???

With option selects being removed and orochi, Shinobi, and raider getting reworks,
who benefitted the most? Here’s questions to answer this more specifically:

    1. Who benefitted the most: Orochi, Shinobi, or Raider?

    2. Who benefited the least: Orochi, Shinobi, or Raider?

    3. Who would be your TOP 5 heroes that benefitted the most from the removal of option selects discussed in the TG?

Shinobi has won the tg by far. I love the rework except.

-His ranged unparriable attack wall splats
    -feeds next to no revenge
There's probably more than that, but I just started

    1. both Samurai are in a good shape except for the wall splat ps for Shinobi and weird animation on Oro's kick
    2. Raider objectively was just sped up and not given anything. His changes should be called what they are which is quality of life changes and not "rework" at all. No bashes, undodgeable attacks were added. I personally hoped that there was going to be another move(s) except for the "ol' reliable" storming tap and GB but that's where we are going, I guess. His recoveries are still terrible and his "buff" for heavy finishers was laughable because nobody uses it.
    3. Can't tell for sure, but I feel like everyone who depends on their UBs

Shinobi and that's a no brainer. His ranged heavy splats (possible bug) which very easily leads to a 49 damage punish in a lot of cases. That's got to go. He also shouldn't get his sickle rain on a gb considering how strong his mix ups are. They could still retain "everything leads to sickle rain" by making the combo heavy what you get on GB instead.

Raider benefits the least. He needs more. His unblockable chain zone still seems to be 1000ms so it's still very stuffable and the only way it will land is if someone tries to parry for some reason. You can and always have just dodged it when you know it's committed to. His zones have such bad whiff recovery it's a free GB for anyone who dodges it. He also lacks a decent peel tool. They removed being able to whiff a light into his chained zone. So we can probably see that as them attempting to address back attack nonsense. Storming tap being enhanced and his neutral zone chaining and both zones being the same cost of his heavy is nice. But nothing in his kit has pushed him up enough to be considered in a good spot.

Goki is probably the one that benefits the most from all OS's being removed. Most heros who have bad unblockables will still be in a tough spot. Ironically enough chargable offense is probably the offense that benefitted the most from OS removal and those heros who have it are the strongest heros in the game. So that's pretty kek. Also, guard switch OS still exists. The one that was forbidden to be used on the comp scene.

Orochi is playing VERY nicely, but his dodge attacks are giving heavy parries instead of light parries. (Likely due to changing them from lights to enhanced lights). I have to agree aswell that the kick animation looks a little funky but I must assume it's a recycled animation from another hero that was made to look new? Resulting in a slightly janky appearance when everything is in motion? Sorta just guessing here... lol

Shinobi has benefitted TOO much. He plays smoothly and his kit flows but much like Gladiator in the previous TG, he was made a little TOO good.

I think another user said exactly what I would have, and that is that Shinobi's sickle rain shouldn't be free on wall splat or GB. It's too much.

Splats and GB should get the opener heavy for free. Maybe make the dodge kick chain to openers instead of finishers? Guarantees an opener move and that can therefore continue the chain to finishers and mixups? I'm just tossing raw thoughts out so feel free to counter.

Other than that, Shinobi feels like a lot of fun and is more than viable. Well done, overall.

Raider didn't need another rework, so I'm personally a little confused by the general response to his changes. The armor timing was toxic. It needed to be normalized to meet risk vs reward ratios. The other things were just small buffs that should allow him to flow just a little better since he was already a strong character. He was just subjected to OS's a bit more than others just like Shugo was. With OS's gone, Raider is just fine.

They definitely overdid Shinobi a bit. His Ranged Melee can wallsplat which is ridiculous, they need to change that for sure. Plus his gank is stronger that it should be IMO, in team modes with some mates he can delete you almost instantly if your not careful, it only takes one Sickle Rain... and he is going to land a bunch of those from now on. That move (being able to pin down everyone for a long time) shouldn't be guaranteed on a GB. Also, I don't think that the ranged melee should deal damage.

I didn't test Orochi yet, but his kick animation is really weird and bad looking.

Raider is actually kinda fun, while playing him/her I defeated players much more experienced with him/her (based on reps) today, but I think he needs a bit more. Like enhanced light chain starters and an undodgeable soft-feint (only soft-feint) Storming Tap.

P.S.: I can't wait to do some duels tomorrow with LB. My unblockables should get the respect they "deserve" now.

Pk feels extremely strong now that her unblockable pressure is forced to be respected, if we take out the two extremely broken Japanese hero from the list, I would dare to say she is the strongest duelist (or a strong contester for it). I can completely validate what everyone thought, she is insane if she is not optionselected.

I would actually tone down her triple stab now, 38 damage for a gb is insane (she should get some benefits in return, like a T2 that does not suck, a dodge attack that doesn't suck, and she and Zerk should get their 50 damage projectiles).
