Changes for orochi seem...okay? I'll need to gameplay it for myself. A lot of the shinobi rework reminds me about the suggestions I gave a long while ago. I was especially estatic to see the front roll become the same mix up I suggested. I am excited to see that. Raider i'm a bit disappointed in but I will wait to try. Overall I get the same feelings with these 3 reworks as I did with the 7 from last TG. Some good but mixed feelings. However this thread is not about these changes and more so about the OS changes.

I will say i'm a bit disappointed but it's what I expected. However I find it curious that the devs are willing to leave in some hero specific option selects. I find it interesting because it means the devs could potentially be fine with OS's that might arrive in the future so long as it doesn't involve parrying. That COULD speak to another level of gameplay if they itterate on it. The positive note for me is how they explained their decision making.

They didn't say zone OS's were OP or removed depth or anything. It's specifically noted they struggled to improve zones in various ways because they knew that they had to consider zone OS's. They also site this change as a way to nerf the bash zone's power without nerfing the zones themselves. All in all it "sounds" like they want to preserve zones as good tools. So I can only hope that because they chose this route and used this specific wording that it means we will see them improve zones in future TG's/updates.

Though if I have to be nitpicky I would say they're slightly off in the regards to what makes a zone good or bad. It's heavily implied that being able to OS or not is what dictates a good zone. While that is indeed apart of it it's not the only factor. In highlander's case the zone is incredibly slow. In Nuxia's case it is also far too slow. Both zones don't really add anything into the kit as is. So even if they could OS they'd still not be considered great. Overall, not happy to see them go. But glad that they used at least acceptable reasons for said removal of Zone OS.
