First, I've been a fan of the series since the beginning will always appreciate the AC world Ubisoft has created. I'm sure this is winded by now but I'm finding myself debating do I play another AC game or not? I've always expected the game to perform more or less in comparison to the CGI trailers that hype up the release of each title - amazing. The original series; AC1-AC4 + Unity, Rogue and Syndicate were wonderfully story driven games. There were many moments that had me gasping for more. Some of my favorite sequences were the linear missions forcing the player to out pace his target, dodging and out flanking obstacles. Origins had a great story and wonderful cut scenes that had me hyped for every second beyond. Odyssey and Valhalla are both beautiful games and the stories are fine. However I'm struggling with the gameplay experience itself. There is some stealth, there is some combat and there are areas that require you to think your way through a situation. That's all good and all but there is a decent chunk of the game spent on the dialogue system and that is where I flat line. The skip feature is my favorite part of the dialogue sequences that force you to interact with NPCS and make dialogue choices that rightfully have little impact on the games outcome. I've had zero desire to listen the the NPC's or interact with them. They have all felt like animatronics - do you remember the robots at Chuck E Cheese?. Sorry but the dialogue system has felt dull and unenthusiastic. Am I missing something or is this the experience we're suppose to settle for and pretend to appreciate? I need more excitement from you Ubisoft.

Ubisoft you guys are great and I can't wait to see how you perform with things getting back to normal. Let's challenge the bar & do amazing things!
