IMO, the recent update 2.28.1 is a bad update. A lot of old hero's got improved which is good but the constant push towards dodge attacks and fast bashes is honestly ruining this game. In short, there are too many characters with chain exit options i.e. if you want to get out of a chain just side heavy/light/bash very lazy and effective. The problem is that these moves are often not very punishable with exception to side lights, I think those are fine. The side heavies and side bashes are cancer, not very punishable and annoying to fight against. ffs Ubi at least make dodge heavies be gaud break vulnerable...
On another note Gladiator was overturned. He has ridiculous infinite chains that can't be interrupted. also way too many starter moves and most of his bashes can't be punished of course

. Hitokiri's kick range is stupid and the dodge heavy is completely unnecessary. Shugoki's bash is too fast for it to have damage and is also unpunishable

All the above being said I am a LB main and a lot of these changes destroy LB's gameplay so that definitely factors into my opinion.
In case Ubi needs help understanding why dodge heavies are broken:
dodge light -> light parry -> more damage
dodge heavy -> heavy parry -> less damage
*keep in mind both dodge attacks are redactable
Jin Jung -> dodge heavy -> light attack -> wtf is this crap

Tiandi -> dodge attack -> light//heavy/re-dodge -> no more gimmicks please
Again the solution to all of this:
- Make dodge heavies vulnerable to gaurd breaks
- Or make all dodge heavies a light parry
- Stop giving heroes ridiculous fast bashes in combination with damage or high stamina drain
- Make more bashes actually punishable
- Or just have bashes and side attacks waste significant stamina so they can't be spammed
