Hi, all.
So recently I have been considering purchasing Discovery tour - Ancient Greece, and am not sure about whether my laptop can handle running it. The minimum graphics card according to the page is an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 660. My card is only an NVIDIA GeForce 940MX. It has the same dedicated VRAM that the page recommends, and even slightly higher shaders, but it is still a generally weaker graphics card, although not by much. So my question is, will the game run at its lowest settings on a graphics card like this without significant issues that would render it an overall wasted purchase? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Hey Nightshade9966, thanks for reaching out and welcome to forums!![]()
If you are referring to our minimum requirements for the game and if you do have graphics card which is just slightly below, then it is a strong possibility that you may encounter difficulties with performance and overall experience may be not to it's full extent.
Ultimately, the final decision is yours however be mindful that you may run into risk as stated above.
