I would like for there to be an option to equip our AI teammates with just 1 main weapon and 1 pistol.

I think i read that Ubisofts stance on this is that they want our AI teammates to have at least one Assault Rifle so that they can do sync shot. But even so, i think i would be OK with a handicap of not being able to sync shot with an AI teammate because they have an LMG/STG. Cause then it forces me to choose between having them use that LMG/STG or equipping them with a sync-shot capable weapon for that ability.
