You have completely misunderstood what was said, bud.

The devs didn't say Option Selects were specific to For Honor.

They said in For Honor, "option select" refers to moves that include the parry action.

This doesn't mean option selects don't appear in other games or look different in the other games.

It means that For Honor's option selects are actions that can be combined with the parry action.
