    What an intro!

    https://forums.ubisoft.com/showthrea...348-Hey-Ghosts!

"Hi guys, I'm the new Community Developer! Don't mind me while I make only one single post and then lock the thread instead of interact with the community at all."

PDawg, since you're new here, it's customary for Ubi reps to apathetically state that they've "passed the information along to the team" at least once before they lock a thread and disappear.

You state that you've been hard at work passing our feedback along for the last two title updates, but what exactly is your role as a community developer?
What are your goals with the position?
Other than testing BP, have you played any other Ghost Recon games?
Do you enjoy other "Tom Clancy" works? Have you read any of his books or enjoyed any particular shows/films?

Oh, and could you please "pass this along to the team"?

    Hey Crock,

As a heads up I actually locked the thread because the conversation became silly.
Also, we do pass the information on, as I've said time and time again, otherwise what would be the point in our jobs?

Also as for the questions, I'll send them his way tomorrow for you Thanks for asking informative questions about his experience.

Thanks Toon. We want to have a positive rapport with all of you. But I can't say I approve to much of your new hair style though...

I completely agree Crock. Dawg said " I have been extremely happy to be a part of such a passionate community that really cares" But he's not really part of the community. He might get paid to read our posts, but being a part of the community includes actually playing the game, being a fan of the franchise, and engaging with other player. Now, if someone like yourself, Blue, Kean or Steven527 ever became CM's, then I would agree that they were part of the community, and not just part of the "community team".

One thing I'm dying to know is why Ubisoft even bloody bother launching a Teammate Experience update and Operation Motherland when even a community developer can't be arsed to get some simple, proper communication rolling. Honestly. Like... Do they need to look it up in a dictionary first?
Now I don't mean to sound rude, but I have seen 16-year-old amateur developers with better understanding of community engagement and professionalism than has been displayed from Ubisoft over the past 1½ year. It's honestly mind-boggling why they don't just announce the termination of Breakpoint support when they obviously could not care less.

Operation Motherland may likely be the update that determines Breakpoint's legacy, of not Ghost Recon as a whole because God knows it seems like they've been trying to kill it off.

So UbiPDawg, I'm sorry. But if you really care - show, don't tell. Otherwise you just add to the pile of false promises and outright lies that since pre-launch has only gotten bigger and bigger.

WOW, you are saying that Ubisoft lies?

    Say it isn't so.

I love how this forum is divided into 2 types of people (sorta):

•people who will make threads reporting issues or even ranting but in a respectful way and without involving CM which from what I saw, always do their job helping or passing info to the devs
•people who will disrespect the sh*t out of CM just cause they feel like it, without bringing any constructive criticisms or whatever to the thread

And also others that will point out the obvious w/o offering anything new to the thread.

Sorry Toon. Sh1t like that must make the day suck, but there are plenty of us who do appreciate what you do and the humor that you bring despite it all.
