    You arent far away so the slow slog of pain will be over soon enough!!. Im sure you are aware but if not, you only want the Classified versions of gear in there. Easy to put a full set together during Global events, not sure when the next one is as one just ended last week but i think they are monthly.

    The only time A&8s wins as far as I can tell is when using a semi-auto sniper with Focus instead of Headhunter (4.59M A&8s vs 3.56M ToTs w/ SVD) or the set chests, but at that point you'd be better off using a rifle build instead - staying out of cover so much without the benefit of a shield to maximize Focus isn't exactly viable. Not to mention semi-auto snipers become damn near unusable with ammo directives turned on.

    Edit: Having thought about it some, A&8s could be decent and semi-autos made legendary/directive viable with something as simple as "Headshots return a round to the magazine" or better yet "Headshot kills refill your magazine" getting baked into the 4 piece bonus. Maybe add an extra handling buff while Dead Man's Hand is active.
    I really wish people would stop using the shooting range to prove things. It's a good idea to test out concepts, but I think that using the build out in the field is a better real test or comparison.

    Regardless, as I said, I'm going to defer to the people who like and use sniping on a regular basis. I think it's a bad investment in a game where so many targets can't be one-shot, or just don't have heads in the first place. But if you enjoy it and want to make the best of it. knock yourself out.

    I didn't farm out perfect versions of both sets to plink at targets in the shooting range, you'll just have to trust that I have experience with both (or not.) The video was just to prove the numbers as fact. (That and I didn't think I'd need visual proof in the field that getting a bodyshot for a 60 second buff is easier than landing only headshots to maintain Dead Man's Hand...)

    As for enemies not having heads, that's something I sincerely hope they change with whatever the upcoming content is, though my hopes aren't exactly high.

    Edit: I should also add that I wouldn't use either set outside of 4 player legendary as it's complete overkill in terms of damage and doing legendary solo with them is both unnecessary and just a really bad time.

    Make aces and tots synergize again with the team . I’m not sure why this was removed . They talked all about how they wanted synergy with the team blah blah and then they removed it . Aces and tots used to buff the entire team like other talents do now .

    Honestly very few gear sets currently buff the team, probably only Future and True patriot really are made for teams, well depends if you count Foundry a team set or not since it uses the role of tank but doesn't buff anyone else on the team.

    The random suggestion n°385 for OD suggested replacing granades with an ammo bag for special ammo in cooldown that you would press to drop pickable special ammo on the ground where you are standing, you would obviously pickup instantly but your team mates would also be able to run by and pick them up to make the set more consistent so the person who uses can kickstart the effect from time to time even in the middle of battle where they might lose all special ammo and buff the entire team magazine once at least

    Hunters Fury + Scorpio + Golan BP w Status Effect, does that synergize? I have a Dark Winter as well unless there is a better smg. The build needs a little help so I'm hoping SE helps. OK carry on ---

    The reason I doubt the shooting range is because it's been known to not correctly display all manner of information. Using it as proof is questionable.

    I don't doubt for a second that you use MMR builds as you say you do. Only that the shooting range is not reliable to use as a measure.

    the scorpio SE has its own damage and duration that is only dependant on how many pellets you hit the enemy with , stacking SE doesnt help at all , now the Ep set spreads the status but it lasts so little its not productive to use it that way.

    Thanks, it was good I never tried it & less a wast of time. I thought the pellets might spread. I'm far better off copying than dreaming this stuff up --

    No, keep dreaming and theory crafting , use other players examples as templates , you never know if it will be fun until you try, it doesnt have to be always about maximum efectiveness, even now you just learned something useful for the future , point is that even if it doesnt end up a dream build you will surely learn something new to carry on to the next.
