Sorry, I wasn't recording the entire CP run. I was just farming while watching netflix. But as soon as I opened the chest and saw purples, I hit record.
Hopefully it makes sense. You can see my agent sitting there with the open chest. It's the big yellow one that everyone should recognize. You'll see the open world difficulty in the top left corner as soon as I hit escape in the video. This was today. WONY. Heroic open world with 1 directive(special ammo).
The loot is definitely normal/hard level stuff and not heroic. Definitely a bug and not working as intended.
Edit: Just an FYI. Despite the title, this is the first and only time I've ever seen this happen in thousands of hours of gameplay across several accounts.
This has happened to me on a few occasions quite awhile back, but when it did happen it showed on the top left going from Heroic too Normal once i reached the cache room, his video shows him being in the cache room and it still shows Heroic.Originally Posted by BT3241 Go to original post
The old bug where the civvies or player dying would cause the CP box to reset to normal? https://forums.ubisoft.com/showthrea...n-Heroic-CacheOriginally Posted by Riflemania Go to original post
My guess is that the world difficulty is irrelevant given that bug always set the loot quality of that box to normal.
I am pretty sure (from when I used to play the open world at Challenging) that, after the banner message indicating the CP has been taken, the difficulty level display reverts to displaying the level of the open world, not the CP. So what's being displayed there in the video is not the CP level but the open world level; i.e., the CP could actually have been displaying as Normal just before completion.Originally Posted by Riflemania Go to original post
(But I could be wrong about this. Does someone want to do a test run?)
Same as me, It has happened a few times, very rare so i chose not to report it and just took it on the chin.Originally Posted by Sircowdog1 Go to original post
EDIT: Reason being as i find the caches give poor loot anyway, i find the enemy drops around the CP give better loot.....don't think i have had anything good come from a CP cache....well not that i can remember.
