    Strange Heartbeat Problem?

I play Coop with my Brother, just lately he has had this heartbeat quite a lot which sometimes kills him?, I do not have the problem. Any ideas on what is causing this?

Could it be the red pulse granades that Black tusks are throwing? they look like the EMP granades but they have red pulses and do make a weird noise

It's possible that he's referring to that low frequency pulse created by the BTSU Lethal EMP Jammer Devices, but I think Cow has the most likely scenario with the Backfire, given that the bleed effect has the distinct 'heartbeat' sound. It would also explain why the brothers were having difficulty discerning the source. The BTSU Lethal EMP Jammer Devices have a very overt causal relationship, whereas a new player recently acquiring the Backfire -- and not first familiarizing themselves with its respective particulars -- would be inclined to attribute the damage to an unidentified external variable.

Of course, yet another possibility is the backpack hives on White Tusk Heavies, that his brother chronically attempts to tie the boot laces on while Ape covers him from a 'discrete' distance... LOL

No problem, Ape. You'll find that absurd levels of, "My wizard's Wand Of Divinity is a prophylactic to your witch's repugnant Necrosis Hex!", are ubiquitous and have become fundamental to the game.
