Third, just toss an EMP on those pesky flies, but the operators will send more if you didn't eliminate them.

Fourth, this is Discussion for Ghost's sake, not player support or whatever...
After having cleared the base for the 6th time I stopped trying, I honestly thought the drones were part of the behemoth.

And hey, these forums are so quiet, im sure it wont hurt ;P

Once you have killed all the humans, go into the airport tower overlooking this stupid robot and snipe at it from INSIDE the building. The only thing you'll have to watch for then is its machine guns. The mortars can't hurt you. Take your time and just keep pinging away at it till it dies.

Now the bad news. Are you there to destroy it for the walker mission or just trying to clear the base? If there for the mission, once you kill the stupid robot you'll then have to face the boss fight with walker which will make what you have done so far look absolutely logical. It is by far the worst mission in all of BP. Sit far enough from your monitor that you can't put a foot or fist through it and try not to have an object you can throw. The only way around this one is to restart and kill Walker after the very first cut scene where he kills Weaver. It can be done and it is very much worth the effort to figure out a way. (I've done it a couple times, the easiest way as another player taught me is to get a rocket helo before you approach the cut scene location.)

Good luck and know we have all been there at some point.
Pfew, thanks for the support, ill def check your suggestions out alongside of those of others here. Glad to hear this mission stands out and isnt fully representative of BP

Here's what worked for me; after all humans are dead, go over to the rocket helo and use it to destroy the stupid robot from basically where you launch at the pad. Don't fly higher than a few feet off the ground (SAM site nearby) and use the nearby ruined control building as a "shield" to prevent the stupid robot from targeting you for any length. What's nice about this is that the stupid robot won't be able to put its mortar or MG fire on you as you keep moving the helo out of its LOS.

After launching in the helo just work your way to get some shots off as it moves into view, then slide back (left or right) so the building is between you and it. What's also nice about this is that you use the helo's weapons, and nothing from your inventory.

well I'd hesitate to commit to that last. I actually think this is pretty representative of the game in the sense of badly designed, but most missions are nowhere near as annoying.

You can disable robots too. They are one thing that spoilt this game, bullet Sponge bulls!.t. If I am just after the Goods on the Tower, I Stealth it, but have an Emp mk3 in case, it has a hissy fit. But depends how you want to play, more realistic turn them off. Or for battle above suggestions work.

You can't disable the Behemoths, but if you want a really easy way to take them down, just get a helicopter with miniguns. Fly in fast and low to give the Behemoth little to no reaction time and to ensure you hit your target. Go for the blue-glowing vulnerable spot and just let it rip. If done right the Behemoth will be down in 3-4 seconds.

But otherwise I can only echo the others here. Don't take them head-on. Use ample cover. Keep moving and shoot weak spots in short bursts.

That’s where I’ve been going wrong. Tried the the grenade launcher and rocket launcher with no success. But never tried a chopper. May have to give that a go.

I managed once with a rocket launcher. Timing is just hard. With a chopper you can give chase and it is a helluva lot easier. I forget now who I owe for that nugget of info. Maybe Crockford.

This is one of the features of this game that ruined it for me and wanted to be rid of them as soon as I got the game. Makes the game feel like a Star Wars Battlefront DLC and ruined the GR lore and immersion factor for me.

The way to deal with them is: SHOOT & SCOOT

Always be moving. Never stand still. Sneak up it, plant C4..run

Shoot at it (as others have told you) ..and RUN

The idea of buying the vehicle with the cannon is a good one.

Helicopter with Gatling guns is good (you can keep the trigger pulled cos it has infinite ammo and just hose the Behemoth) but be careful it can still blow you out of the sky. When you are using a helicopter fly low, use terrain as cover. You can also try a low orbit while hosing the thing.

As you kill more and more you will take less and less time to get rid of them. I killed all of them at all the Behemoth sites.

i think he didn't change the strategic after set it at the ultimate difficulty. when u play the ultimate difficutly( i forget what it is called), u can't play it as the normal difficulty. if u clear adds first, or lower their number, i think it isn't hard. then u have to take cover, well equiped perk . u can see him , adds are very close to him or surrounding him( he didn't find a right location before start the fight) when he are fighting the patrol car....
