As usual the initial demo of the game is nothing like what will be on consoles.
You will have to register on Ubisofts lousy server just to play the game, meaning putting in your identity email, date of birth and other important bank details required for security.
Yet another example of having to have only an online lend of the game, unable to play it without registering on ubis select websites and having to be online to play - no option of playing offline or actually owning the game, even if you buy a disc you still have to sign up with ubis crap buddy system that doesn't allow you access to the game if you are offline even if you bought the disc.
What an absolute sham!. I won't be buying this game, Ubi obviously just part of the evil system going forward.
So many other games coming out that are way better, with multiplayer, new Call of Duty, Battlefield and a gerzillion other games. No need for me to buy Far Cry, the best far Cry games are all in the past now, look to the future, don't buy Ubi games. They are on a downward trend.
I don't see what the problem is, there are many sites where you can register and have a secondary email (it doesn't take more than 2 minutes). Then registering at Ubisoft will not be something that will cost you too much, and about not being able to play offline, there if you are absolutely right, I think it is a mistake by many companies, in this case, just do not buy it.As usual the initial demo of the game is nothing like what will be on consoles.

This revelation is unsurprising as you've been complaining about it from day one.
Unfortunately its the way most companies work these days.
Its all about profit and greed. They dont only want your cash, they want your data too. I think we all should know what that can lead to, intentional or not (hacked).
I think most people dont really care about all the dodgy emails/telephone call scams they receive, they just ignore them, or hang up...but one miss-click could send you into some dire-straits.
This person has effectively been posting only "against" content after his fiery assault on other members because of his convictions. No matter how "renowned fan" (or whatever you can call yourself in that case when you just like an aspect of a franchise) someone can be, in the end his opinion is not meant to be a generic truth.Originally Posted by SofaJockey Go to original post
As for the online needed, the campaign does not require be online. It never was and was confirmed not to be here. Funny from a so called map maker for decades to complain about registering once but life is full of surprises i guess.
