    Grouped landmarks in DZ

I know the DZ is a contentious topic, and I have zero interest in another thread about cheaters, but just wanted to throw out there if you're looking to level up in SHD and get Optimization mats faster than ever, grouping up with three others and doing landmarks is ridiculously fast. With 4 guys most landmarks fall so quick you spend more time waiting for the countdown to the next wave then you do killing them. Move on, another minute another landmark.

We circled around the DZ 3 or 4 times and I had 100+ Field Recon and 40+ SHD calibration points in easily less than 20 minutes.

Makes grinding the Summit or other LZ avenues seem glacially slow.

They're a quick materials farm in general. Wouldn't worry about rogues either, if you get wiped, just go to the other side of the map, wait for them to go off rogue and start again, rogues want the manhunt, if you just rinse and repeat the above they're not getting what they want and go away.

Well, that's a side benefit of being in a group. We didn't go looking for rogues, and when some showed on the opposite side of the map we ignored them and farmed on. Twice some did attack us, but being in a group of four we had no issues killing them all, picking up the one group member who was downed, then continued farming.

This was a random join for me. None were friends of mine. So you can match make sucessfully in the DZ.

If there is interest in getting a group together on the forum I am all game. I am going to disappear from Div 2 (and the forum) for 2.5 weeks as I am flying my family out to So. CA for vacation in two days, but I should be back on the weekend of July 9 and can join if we've raised sufficient interest.

    Hi,
I too am interested in joining a group solely for clearing DZ landmarks.
    Cheers

Well I didn't expect this response, so anyone have ideas?

My in-game tag is identical to my forum name. If anyone wants to join up send me a friend invite.

As I already noted, I'll be offline the next few weeks, but should be back on the weekend of July 9th. We can set something up then?

    Sounds good to me.
I will send an invite tomorrow. Same in-game tag for me.
    Thanks!

DZ is the only place to farm mats in my opinion. Grouped up you get it done FAST. If you extract just to deconstruct, you get even more materials. You can actually mark as junk while waiting on the chopper, and then it will be marked as such when you go in the checkpoint, open the stash, deconstruct immediately, and then go on till it fills up again.

Try to target landmarks that are only heroic, as they have more waves, and more drops as such.

Agreed, but it's a little less practical to do for those who (like myself) usually play solo. Once you are in a group it's true that you can't beat the speed, with four player knocking down another landmark every 2-3 minutes. I wasn't kidding when I said we spent more time waiting for the countdown to the next wave then we did killing them: 5...4...3...2...1 then a hail of bullets and in a couple of seconds all the hostiles were dead. Lather, rinse, repeat.

Agreed Heroic returns more mats, but I wouldn't waste the extra time running past any non-Heroic ones. We just went counterclockwise, knocking one after another in the order we came across them. By the time you get back to start they are reset, so make as many more rounds as needed.
