3 cars to buy for Summit this week?

Why do we need to buy so many cars for the summit every week?

I like doing the summit and i love playing the Crew 2. I don't have 24/7 to grind money for cars. I don't mind buying a car here or there for CC but i am not willing to throw $20 a week at this game just to complete a summit.

I already bought the game and season pass. I know they offer bundles but the cars for this week are $1.9 million for all 4. Stop with trying to nickel and dime us. One car a week that you have to buy for summit should be max.

If Ubisoft were smart they would let you use the car for a race then offer at a discount afterwards. Nothing worse than being forced to buy a car you hate and never drive again.

I can't be the only one who feels this way

I don't even bother trying to get Plat most of the time because of this.

I complete what I can, then make a judgement call. Are the Gold/Plat awards worth me investing into a pointless car? Do the races/events require me to buy a vehicle I happened to want?

If the answer is no, then i'll log back in next week.

    Same.

The Boosted Performance Parts plus summit-necessary part sets are more important than these plat vehicle rewards if you ask me.

Like the above, focus on what's really important and just go after those. Less spending, less effort, and less FOMO!

    Are you serious?
I supose noobs had it too easy lately. First 2 years summits usually required specific vehicles in all 6 events.
And let me check what are requirements this time... Oh, I see, they could as well put "no restriction" in most events. France for hypercar. Like there is any other option if you want to win. Whats next? Austria for powerboats?
Dude, if you are serious about those summits you should have had WRC05 and Bugatti already. And red bull (aka UK) cars are required often enough too. leaving only dirt cheap VW bus to buy.
And no, you dont need to farm 24/7 or spend any CC on those.

Lol drive NY HC race a few times and they are yours.

Parts, money and followers as a bonus.

Well, the summits are supposed to be mid-to-late game content - I never even considered spending CC on cars in this game and I'm a bit surprised that people seem to be willing to do so. Maybe I'm just old...

You don’t need to open your wallet and spend money on crew credits to buy vehicles for the summit every week. As someone who has 41.6 million bucks and icon 2069, I rarely have to buy cars for the summits each week as I already have them long time ago. Maybe one or two cars I don’t have from the recent previous summits because I don’t like the vehicle(s) but the summits requires me to buy the bundle. Just grind NY hypercar race or Uber Dam powerboat to save you the trouble of spending money on crew credits. I don’t understand why people need to buy CC to begin with, especially when someone just brought the game. I mean someone literally brought CC to buy the 370Z on Rookie level when that person could of spend like an hour to do the street races to buy the vehicle with bucks.

Once you get rolling, bucks are so easy to gain. Slot some comfort points into Bucks if you want to make money faster.

As others have stated, if you've been playing for any length of time, you should already have those three vehicles and Summits aren't gauged to new players. Yes, even so you should always take part and do at least one event with a score awarded so you get Bronze and LOTS of free followers.

Beyond that, well, we all did the grind for bucks and parts and Icon Levels. It wouldn't be fair to long time players to just hand everything out to the newer players. Plus there is always the work around of spending more money to gain CC packs. It's either time or money. Personally I suggest not ever purchasing CC packs to buy vehicles. Only buy CC if you are taking part in Motorpass stuff and care about it.

At one point, IDR when or where, but IVT did mention that Summits are meant for experienced players rather than newbies. Since its a competition, you need the right parts and enough Icon points to cover all the necessary ones. Someone can correct me but I think you need between 300 and 400 Icon points just to fill the latter two categories 25/25.

Summits are not meant for beginners but you can "milk" it for quick followers just by completing one event.
