For people that say:
Exotics/Gear shouldn't be locked in raids.
What would be better to get in raids then?
Or (if we get one) in a new raid?
- A yellow hat? (Or other clothing)
- A "cool" arm patch? (No one looks at Inc you)
- A backpack hanger? (Same as arm patch)
The arm patches and hangers you get, didn't even look at them.
Mask could be, but the IH mask is trash.
What else could we get instead of the current?
Double the (trash) loot drops per boss?
Raid should be good enough to stand on its feet and attract players that way, not because they locked some good loot to Raid only.
Then it doesn't matter what loot you have or not have in Raid, people will still play it.
The way things are now, 80+% play the raid for the chance to get that exclusive loot, don't give a sht about the mission itself.
I think they just should guarantee the drop from the Normal Raids, but give folks an RNG shot some other way. Some potentially long project like Chatterbox - so it would be far quicker to try the Raid, but available if you can't/won't.
Each Raid should come with an exclusive full outfit. Hell, an exclusive outfit for each boss. You can show everyone you did it, congrats!
I have an EB, but I can't bring myself to jump through the PUB hoops for IH, even though I want a Regulus. I also rarely have two+ uninterrupted hours of gaming time. I find the mechanics annoying as well [same with the dumb Boomer laptops].
but what if a player that already has both chest and backpack for it and play summit and set it as their targeted loot, would chest and backpack drop for them? which can be shared to the group.
if i remember correctly, aces, negotiators, and tip were locked in dark hours (chest&backpack) too.when i got it from the raid, it dropped for me from time to time in the open world and missions
No. That's not how it works. These items will only ever drop in the raid. Never anywhere else.Originally Posted by Canthought_ Go to original post
The devs went on record saying it didn't make sense to keep them locked to the raids. But apparently had an Alzheimer's attack and forgot that lesson and went back to lazy/stupid design choices for the second raid.Originally Posted by Canthought_ Go to original post
Then they all fled to different projects before fixing it again.
