as MrBdur said, sometimes I get a team full of noobs, or high rep idiots.Or good players that like trolling and don´t even try to play with the team. This is normal, matchmaking is not the best and we know it, homever it is improving year after year.

Like i sad, i considerer myself an average player, solid but average. I can deal with many enemys and stall. Im a tactical / Recon player.
Im a team player. Rarely do duels or ranked.
Even when i got noobs on my team, it sucks, but i always try to help them. The enemys sometimes are really organized clans, and sometimes some potatoes...

i dont really realize the logic of matchmaking.

But like, I never found a rep 60 that does that kind of stuff in duels. I was just curious to know why dominon has rep 60 players that prob invested hours in the game and play weird like that. I don't think he is bad, because it was working on my teammates, so he prob knew what he was doing, but why playing (probably just on) dominion hurt so much those players' skills on the game?

Like why are there rep 300 kenseis that just know how to dodge and zone. And why the "average" dominion playerbase can't counter that kind of spam?

Is it because they focous too much on 4s and get bad on 1s? Is it because dominion isattracks people who just care to press buttoms?

I don't think there is a distinction between duelist players and dominion players, because most of them play both modes.
Both modes have different states of mind and objectives.

I only play team modes, and there will be those who only like Duels and Ranked.

I like watching videos of top players, trying to learn and then trying to apply what I saw.
But not everyone is like that. Some people play just for fun with no goals. There are simply those who don't know how to play and handle it well...

There is so much bad in Dominions...from potatoes to players who don't know the basic rules of defensive and offensive ganks and just feed revenge...put themselves in tricky positions...

    There is everything....
I've seen a 1035 Rep player and it was an authentic potatoe...

Duel players are generally way better than Dominion only players. They obviously can't rely on teammates, feats, minions, and zone healing. Players that play a lot of Duel can trash on a lot more of the Dominion player base than everyone else.

How do people level up 200 reps relying on teammates?

Just depends on the game mode you play. DOM is more a team bashing gank mode and dual is more skilled based. Only thing is DOM you get more rewards because more of an objective game mode than kills. The difference is that 60 dual player would be more skilled then a 60 DOM player because dual relies on skills dom relies on team.

Probably better on the confrontation 1vs1 in general, that i think its logical. But i was ahead i ranked last season, and dont do much of duels and ranked. But i won most of matches.

in dominion, you really have to know how to move on ganks, what to do to mess the opponent. Have to read well the movements of your teamates and enemys.

I already saw the opposite, good duelists, not dealing with the gank cooperative and defensive...
Theres the tactical component, where there are primary objectives, takedowns are not mandatory.
And you have the feats deal.

I think theres a lot of diferences.

I'm kind of weird. I only play Dominion, and I tend to do pretty well whenever I decide to do a duel here and there.

I don't like dueling because I generally think it's boring and I get anxious and have some weird insecurity issue when losing, especially when everything is unreactable and becoming more riddled with 50/50s. As a console player, that's less about any actual skill but more about anticipation, and guessing or reading. PC is a completely different game and duels make a little more sense. On console, duels are a huge waste of my time. For me, the pinnacle of skill has always been how you are able to perform against multiple opponents, and I gravitated towards Dominion since that's a valid argument.

Someone who plays only duels is most likely really going to struggle in Dominion when fighting multiple opponents. They may not switch targets or utilize hitboxes appropriately, support their teammates and help peel, or position themselves in a good way. Sure, they may be a little better at dueling once they get that 1v1 but once that 1v2 or 1vX happens they kinda lose their minds.

I can tell when I'm going up against someone who plays duels a lot, because they may be more composed when I duel them but forget how to play once someone comes in to help me out. Even a duelist will fail against an uncoordinated gank. They'll fall for all external UB pressure and won't be able to externally counter GB, and won't be able to survive a gank.

Duels and Dominion are pretty different and different decisions need to be made. There isn't a boat load of time to be too methodical in duels in Dominion, and people tend to be more chaotic and risky both offensively and defensively to kill an opponent before help shows up.

You may make all the right reads, you may make all the wrong ones, you may have to pay attention and see how your opponent changes things up if you're responding a certain way to certain pressures later in the match. On top of all that, there's an objective to play.

The average players will understand how to balance duel skills and team fight skills in a decent way. Below average players/idiots will just press buttons, feed revenge, and not play the objective well. Above average players typically play meta picks, have solid bearing and composure in an antigank, and read opponent's throughout the match while also understanding team mates' tendencies.

Again, some people are just stupid. They could have 200 reps and still play below average.

You typically know you're going against an above average opponent when they can external counter GB and don't get too scared with external UB pressure.

Duelist are way better of course. Dominion is a mode for teams and people who cant win on duels. Cant do **** on duels but now i have a bow or fire flask. I play bad but maybe my team wins. You get Steel from capturing zones orders and 24 kills as something that in duels could take a week to complete. Its a diferent mode a fun one if you play as intended but you just need to play to realize that 80% of players are not there for the zones.
