Hey everyone! Hope you are all well and safe
I just wanted to introduce myself as I have not yet here. I am the new Community Developer on Ghost Recon. I have been hard at work on the past 2 Title Updates to provide your feedback and make your voice heard in the studio.
My background from game testing with a community feature focus in mind, has allowed a great transition into this new role.
I have been extremely happy to be a part of such a passionate community that really cares.
Looking forward to getting to know all of you for the long term future
My best,
UbiPdawg

First of all, welcome, I wish you the best experience possible.Originally Posted by UbiT00n Go to original post
Secondly, since your experience as a tester UbiPDawg and your todays position, is it possible for us to know what's possible to ask for, what's achievable for the dev team?
Sincerely, we have been asking for a lot of things to be added (ranging from simple weapons and cosmetics to an overall of the gunsmith and the eventual addition of a vest configurator).
At this point we still don't know what is reasonable to ask for and what can be done. Personnally, I sincerely believe that this alone would greatly improve the general atmosphere around here.
To sum up: what is realistic to ask for? Many of us are burnout by suggesting additions and improvements, what we see as minor tweaks, what we consider as fixes that should be done more regularly than the frame we have at the moment (the strike designator is a good example of that).
But we really don't know what's possible to do, what's reasonable to ask for, what can be implemented in a realistic fashion.
Answering this very question would gave us something to work with.
Thank you for considering this.
Best of luck around here as a Community developper

Actually, I have many more questions but we'll stick with just the one for now.
My first question to you is what did you do so wrong to deserve such a harsh punishment?Originally Posted by UbiPdawg Go to original post
My second question is are you one of the Devs that is fixing the bugs and glitches or a CM like Toon or Blush. Not that it matters much, just making conversation.
My third question will be, how thick is your skin, some of the members here could be very cut throat and even mean. Not me, as you will see, I am a very mellow yellow kind of cat.![]()

The tone can be slightly rough at times, but I think it's unfair to say anyone here wishes to be mean or cutthroat. There is simply a lot of frustration build-up and we have some very dedicated members and long-time Ghost Recon fans who only wish to see the franchise flourish as a unique and engaging IP that remains true to its roots - something many feel Ubisoft have failed at by trying to assimilate typical Ubisoft design into its Tom Clancy DNA.Originally Posted by FcAc-No-Moe Go to original post
If Operation Motherland is the last significant content update for Breakpoint, we really need to get proper communication rolling with community managers/developers who are ready and willing to engage in the discussion often and on a regular and not just give us the usual "we will forward this to the team!". Gathering feedback in the background does not alleviate the frustration many feel if nothing is ever said or shared. Communication goes both ways and like Mars388502 mentioned, we have to know what is reasonable to ask for. All we can do in this current situation is just hurl ideas into the void and hope something sticks. It's quite a desperate attempt, really.
But with that said, welcome UbiPdawg! Good to see the ship has not been completely abandoned. Hopefully we can still make Breakpoint the game it should have been!
