Compensation and UK collections edition discs | Forums

Hello

I bought the collector's edition early back in late december and has the impression that Far cry 6 would've released when it was supposed to several months ago now. Then it turned out Far cry 6 was delayed. I got in contact and they advised the game was delayed. I asked a time frame for how long Would be waiting for but that could not be confirmed.

Then later on a few months it was then announced Far cry 6 would be now releasing in October. I did not receive any emails about my order being delayed from the first release date and it would of been nice to get an email to tell me the release would now be october.

I would like compensation to be given to people please because there has been no communication such as emails been given to people about the progres of this game.

Also I would like to know about the UK getting discs in the Xbox one collector's edition because it was first announced last year this would not happen. I have asked many times this year and I have now been told I am getting a disc but still not fully confirmed. I checked the website contents of far cry 6 and I could not see any information that the uk xbox one collector's edition would not be getting discs. If you could confirm it definitely does that would be great.

Who exactly did you buy it from? Ubisoft Store? Or someone else? (and are you sure you have already paid for it? Often payments are only charged just before games ship)

I'm not convinced posting on a discussion forum will get this resolved, but with a little more information maybe someone will know.

Contacting whoever sold it would be the best bet.

(and I think you have zero chance for 'compensation', I mean why would you?)

I checked the UK store and the Collector's Edition is identical to the one in the US store despite being described differently. I do notice one of the options for Xbox is seen as "Xbox (Download)" for the UK store, but if you chose "Xbox One/Series X" without the word download in parenthesis, you should be getting the disc in the Ultimate Edition case. In both stores, PC is always a digital download, not a physical disc. Since you are getting it on Xbox and you were told you're getting the disc, then for sure you should be getting it on disc. In the US store, ordering the Collector's Edition for either Xbox or PlayStation, it will always have a disc. The same should apply to the UK store.

That is odd. There's no support to be found around here (aside of a few by-passers trying to help).
