Is anyone aware of a detailed one that is kept up-to-date? in my searches I am finding detailed ones that are old (pre-Gear 2.0) and contradictory.
For example, I have read several accounts that say the Internal Storage slot (on Hive) is useless when using the Artificer. Is this true? Others disagree.
Likewise for the Circuit Board slot when using the Ballistic variant of the Bulwark shield. Does it do anything?
If you have a link to a site you know is kept updated that would be ideal.
I don't think such a database exists. But every single slot on a skill has a use. There are no useless slots.Originally Posted by Sock_Monkey Go to original post
I don't mean useless slots, per se, but as I understand it some variations of certain skills don't use certain slots.Originally Posted by Sircowdog1 Go to original post
Example: Internal Storage slot on Hive works great for Reviver or Stinger (+damage or +armor on revive), but none of the mods that go in that slot have any affect of any kind I can detect on the Artificer variant (unless it's a mod I have never yet seen in in 2 years of playing).
If you know otherwise by all means please correct me...
I am pretty often referring to this Gear Attribute Sheet which also offers an overview for Skill Mods (although not all the specific names of those mods are in there). This is in my opinion possibly one of the best sheets for The Division 2. At least it's one of the best I could find. So Kudos to its maintainer(s).
Anyway:
For the Artificier it is indeed true, that there are no specific mods to boost this skill variant. Especially as long as you are always carrying it on you to boost your shield, you will not benefit from duration, radius, or health mods. And there are no mods for more charges or more efficiency.
Artificier hive is kind of unique in that regard though. The exception to the rule.Originally Posted by Noxious81 Go to original post
And IIRC while it doesn't have any mods that effect the charges, things like radius, health, and duration will effect the hive itself when deployed.
That is correct. That's what I tried to say with "as long as you are always carrying it on you to boost your shield, you will not benefit from duration, radius, or health mods." So as soon as you deploy it to for example boost your decoy or turret, those mods will of course work as expected. True. True.Originally Posted by Sircowdog1 Go to original post
Agreed, and this was my point. I use Artificer like most do: always on my backpack, combined with a max shield build top-to-bottom. And since I play solo 98% of the time I never deploy it either, so as I understand it I could literally leave all the slots empty and it would make zero difference.Originally Posted by Sircowdog1 Go to original post
So what about the Circuit Board slot for the heavy (Ballistic) shield? If you are using the Firewall specialization I see useful mods (+shield health), but if not the only mods I see seem to benefit the Deflector variant (+damage bonus, +deflector damage). Unless the +damage bonus refers to melee damage? I am not sure.
