I've never found the Satan card to be that annoying. Surprising, maybe. I rarely see him and when I do I say "oh ****!". But he's easily dealt with, is basically a weaker fireball with limited range, and is worthless to most players until level 3+.

agreed on all levels. indeed, he is an "oh ****!" inducing card but not something to roll eyes aboot.
I'm playing him myself at level 3 and he's way too weak for my range of 8500-9000.
can't wait for that last copy.

Honestly, just don't group your units! I don't understand why people moan about Satan. He's a 6 cost with slow attack speed and does damage to allied units, so it's not that he hasn't got drawbacks. Unlike SOMM who gets played in the corner and only damages enemies on the entire field. If you don't have your 1 removal spell in hand against a SOMM it's game over from there.

Yea, cool story, bro.
The truth however is, the card is completely out of balance and needs to be nerfed to the dirt following such bs champions as DAR and SPB.

lol. both Dark Angel Red and Space Pilot Bradley have been nerfed to the level they can't be abused anymore.
then again, Satan is a legendary card. he is supposed to be super strong.

Satan is pretty well countered by spam decks like super hero decks and decks with lots of assassins. The reason is that the quick push makes it hard to accumulate the energy needed to play Satan, and even if you manage to play Satan, there’s more spam coming and you’ve just wasted more than half of your energy.

After using him for a while to counter super heroes I eventually replaced him with Incan because I would get ****** before or after playing him.
