    People like Chorizo. Well done.

    Wounded, Chorizo should whine piteously.

Developers, make him more and more pitiful.
There should something like "Saving Chorizo" mission.

And don't forget about Croc and Rooster!

They also should have their chorisma.
Don't let Chorizo completely them overshadow.

Those types of companion don't feel like Far Cry. They feel more like an arcade game. I liked the Guns for Hire in FC5 and felt this strongly improved the Far Cry DNA. Animal companions such as dogs, panthers, etc. were great too, but the human versions worked best for me. I'm not sure FC6 is going to deliver the experience I am looking for as so much appears to have changed or been stripped away. I think they are targeting a new audience.

I felt the companion system as a whole was a degradation of what made previous Far Cry games great. The feeling of being on your own, overwhelmed with nothing and no one to rely on but yourself. Companions made the game ludicrously easy, even though they were still incredibly dumb.

None of them for me. Was hoping they would not do this but as long as its not MANDATORY to have one to progress in the game then its fine.

FC for me should be a solo experience like FC 1,2,3,4.

5 had pet bear, guns for hire etc and that worried me but then realized you do not have to have a companion or GFH to progress the game so I avoided them and completed the game solo.

Hate game companions so much, avoided the dog in Fallout 4 also.

I saw your comment after I posted mine. You said it much better than me! Totally agree. I know FC was not ever a serious shooter but these animal companions make it totally cartoon style.

Whats next as a companion...Sonic Hedgehog

The Champagne skin is just a skin for the panther, presumably a jaguar. The base jaguar will still be ingame for everyone.

I've worked with wild animals all my life and i could actually call a saltwater croc by its name and it would run towards me no matter the distance. These are smart creatures and i used to train this non rehab specimen (6m long, too big for release) into playing tricks. Guapo from FC6 just go a bit further in the concept, highly impossible but i'm good with it.

They said that we'll have "many" companions to chose from. Honestly, for now it seems that we know only 4.

Lets be honest...its terrible! But i get it... lowest common denominator and all that.

Dreamers love clicking on little "thumbs up" pics of dogs, cats, bunnies all day long.
Quite surprised the croc hasnt got shades, a fedora and a gold tooth....they def missed out on that one!

Little invalid dog.....it was ingenious solution.

    Developers, make people cry!

    Make their heart chakra work!
    Open their hearts!

So many disabled animals and people around. Some we see some we don't. So many people in need of help (all kinds of help).
This little dog will bring another little drop of compassion for them.

    It will bring just Compassion.

With compassion for a little disabled dog will enter compassion for a living being, animals and people.

Yes, Guns for Hire was a great system and FC6 system right now looks like a step back.

Well, they was completely optional and players who hated them could skip them easily. I really liked Guns for Hire from FC5 and I hoped that Ubisoft will upgrade this system, not downgrade it.
