    Your amigo choice

So far we have the cute dog, the crocodile and the rooster.

Any of these most working for you? And what do you think would make a great amigo?

Personally I'm interested to see how exactly how Chorizo helps...

None if possible. Was hoping this companion mechanic would be ditched for this game but now I just have to hold out hope it won't return yet again in the next.

Chorizo distracts enemies, and seems to carry items. While Boomer and Timber likes to retrieve weapons for you, it loses its purpose when you're already equipped with better weapons with attachments. If Chorizo can tag enemies, then definitely Chorizo.

I mean seriously....could they have made any stupider choices on animal companions?? A dog in a wheel chair?? A Croc?? A Rooster?? Dog would be about useless in any terrain other than short grass and concrete. Crocs aren't social pets, and can't be trained like this one, just no, so stupid.... Rooster...yeah, let's glorify a "cockfighting Rooster" to the world, one of the animal Bloodsports....what, they didn't want a Dog from a DogFighting ring to help you out?? Is that what happened to Chorizo???

At least with previous ones, there where kinda REASONS and reasonable choices of the animals...bigger dogs, tamed cat, bear and Boar...all of which have been tamed in real life and been seen to act in similar way.....I would probably be laughing at these choices too much to use them, or get killed because of the laughter...

If I buy FC6, it will be later and discounted unless it is way better in actual gameplay than what I have seen so far in trailers......

They are certainly working hard at making the animals engaging.

A paywall gated panther appears to be an option. A pig is speculated. And there's a horse (though whether they have combat utility beyond riding is murky).

Chorizo tastes delicious, especially with eggs or in Paella. YUM!...

I suspect eating the dog is a dark place even Far Cry won't go...

(and yes, chorizo is lovely. )

They already did in New Dawn. The Highwaymen would eat dogs and you're suppose to rescue Timber and his friends so they don't get eaten.

Totally agree, I am a fan of farcry for many years, I love the game and the adventures it offers, but it is true that every time I see things that do not make sense. I hope that in future sagas (if any), they think well before doing this kind of things, players, or at least ami, I just do not like too much.
