The phrase "many more surprises to come" would quite literally scares the he!! out of me, if I hadn't already resigned myself to the fact that currently Ubisoft has no respect whatsoever for the Clancy name brand.

Whatever they do for the 20th anniversary of Ghost Recon, bullet sponge enemies should not be any part of it. Neither human or machine.

Ubisoft needs to put up its hands and admit defeat with this game and move on. Stop pouring money down the drain and develop some new ip more akin to Wildlands

Don’t get your hopes up, whatever they planned, was probably already a part of Op motherland, they just used the anniversary as an excuse to make us think that there’s other content coming

The whole Ubisoft forward was a disappointment. In a game presentation they advertised guitar subscription, tv show, and a movie if I not mistaken. I dosed off at that part zzzzzzzz. Rainbow Six is the new indoor Cowboys and Aliens. Only game that look decent was probably FarCry 6. That Mario and Rabbids game looks more tactical than Rainbow Six Aliens I mean parasite imo. Ubisoft killing themselves and I have no hope for any of its titles. They defeated themselves. Btw that Avatar using snow drop engine seems to be a wasted opportunity. Ubisoft really nuke themselves this year. Ign showcase was bad yesterday but Ubisoft seem worst. Xbox E3 save us tomorrow.....

We don't WANT surprises. This isn't the Price is Right, and we're waiting to see what's behind door number 2. How hard is it to understand that we want actual information, not teases

As always hitting the nail on the head, all this secrecy around motherland is only further hurting the GR brand as a whole.
How their PR and marketing team still haven’t realised at this point all we want is small but regular updates is beyond me!

Been saying it for a while now all we need is a basic update once per week with someone from the dev team talking about ideas they’re working on, faults they’ve identified and are working on, maybe faults they can’t fix and little hits at what the next updates will entail that won’t spoil the Surprise

Disclaimer I am a recent purchaser of this game so I get the experience might of been very different when the game launched.

This game right now is nowhere near as bad as some of you make it out to be. It's not terrible, its not a catastrophe, its not even a bad game, its just not the game you want.

Major studios don't pump millions of dollars into making games for niche crowds. A lot of you won't like this, but those of us that want that tactical milsim experience are a minority. The developers have to walk a tightrope and find balance between pleasing us and those that want a more arcade experience to appeal to the masses. In the course of walking that tightrope they made some terrible design decisions with gear score and bullet sponge enemies on a lifeless arrogant hipster island. The raid being some cheesy Division 2 knock off didn't help either. Despite all that and the bugs, the game isn't bad, a lot of us still find enjoyment in it. Even those of you that moan about it on here still play it.

Bottom-line here is we're not getting a new IP anytime soon and when we do, its not going to be a 100% to the core tactical milsim. So I'm all for them trying to fix this ship, they've done a pretty decent job of it to this point. I'd love to see a mission creator for this game akin to the Assassin Creed games. Its the same engine, can't imagine it would take that much man power to deliver.
