The For Honor team in both development and community manager-ship needs to rethink what its doing I think.

1. Your community managers on your dev cast are lackluster, too young, and dont connect with the audience very well. I feel FAR less connection to those kids than I did to your older managers when they were around on the project. These guys just seem way too young and not history savvy to be commenting on a game like this. Its like listening to an undergrad try to act like an expert... its just... meh feeling.

2. You need to stop the events. This is the fourth event you have pushed out in a row where the wait times to find a group are in excess of 4 minutes a match or not at all.
This means you are wasting development money, and development time on what could be- with some other cost cutting measures -bringing back unique executions or another hero a year. Or even new maps.

3. We need unique finishers to come back on the heroes. The general "fun" executions you brought out using the musical instruments and whatnot around the time you brought out battlepasses was fun for about 2 seasons... now... its just annoying.
Players are drawn to the new executions like moths to the flame. You literally GUTTED this game when you took away unique finishers. Even if you only did a quarter of the heroes each season, half the heroes twice a year with new finishers; it would be something. But these really dumb, supernatural, cheesey effect finishers are not appropriate, nor interesting beyond their novelty.
if you want the game to be taken seriously and retain player base, you need to give the player base what they were drawn to in the first place. And among the top on that list is cool and unique finishing moves per hero.

4. You need to consolidate your player base. Meaning that there are a few modes that need to be taken out, and have the money and energy from those match styles put into gaining ground in other areas. Namely, Tribute, and Deathmatch, need to be removed. No one plays them unless they are in a premade. And even your tournaments dont feature these areas as categories of play. Its pointless, and they arent even used in dailies.

5. Time to change up how matches are done, and introduce ranked MM for dominion. In dominion Ranked there needs to be ban of two heroes per team by captain, and the selection rounds. ONE hero of any kind per match. No mirror matching of heroes. Force the competitive play into a reality now.

6. Put out some new maps. We have been playing the same maps for a year and half.

7.Less steel per match rewarded please. We need to force the player base to feed the game some income through purchases of steel and more. Meaning it may be time to actually induce some in game purchases, or make new executions purchasable and new heroes purchasable ONLY.
This will get community hate. BUT GAMES ARENT DEVELOPED FOR FREE. And this game is obviously suffering from not being a priority any longer due to its minimal income contribution to Ubisoft. I would not be surprised if it is the lowest performer currently.

For Honor has piddled away nearly all of the good faith this game had built for several years on wasted time during the past 24 months. including lack of development on hero executions, maps, and bad or non-existent advertisement of your product to drive in new players. Plus A HUGE LACK of support for any kind of a competitive scene.
Thats not me talking badly, its just a fact right now.

The marketing and development managers need to honestly take a look at his product and make an official decision to the PLAYERS about its future. Because it is DYING and fast. For two days I havent even been able to find a group for your event... this means there are no players. Meaning your game is dying due to lack of connection with your player base, and therefore causing lack of income from the product.
Or, it simply means you are wasting money by creating events that no one is interested in playing anymore, and you should focus on the dominion and duels and brawls. get rid of pretty much anything else; and pump your efforts into heroes, executions, and maps.

Stop wasting your time on skins. Stop wasting your time on effects that dont do ANYTING for the game in reality. We would rather have new executions than new effects and new paint skins. That is a fact.

I doubt any of this will probably be seen by anyone that matters. But I can tell you that just doing some of this would help. And as a well paid international business consultant in real life; I can tell there is something very off about what is going on at the upper managerial level of this product. It lacks focus, and is being felt by your player base.
I love this game. Its my daily play. I just want to see some of the success it should truly have, and hopefully be revitalized on some level through focus and consolidation.
