Perhaps the Far Cry 6 story is too 'realistic' to allow for hallucinations in the main game and therefore best to do the 'fantasy' stand-alone?

And. a Blood Dragon remaster I assume?

Hope it is Blood Dragon Remastered ... a Blood Dragon 2 ... I don't think that this could work well.

It's a shame that you don't play as The Jackal or Dr. Krieger. I wonder if Hoyt, the twins or Far Cry Primal antagonists will make an appearance.

A possible sequel to Blood Dragon ... I don't know ... I think we have the problem here: It is impossible to reach the effect of the "original" one.

I personally like things like mythical things (including hallucinations ... you don't know if somethign is real) ... but I agree with you: Too many of these things connected to the past villains would only show them as "mad". Not a weighting I would like to see.
But: We shouldn't criticise something, that we just saw for a few seconds. Maybe we worry atm only, because they added the "most impressive" pictures in the trailer - and these are the surreal parts. The DLC itself might be alright
I found the DLC for Far Cry 5 incredibly underwhelming. Vietnam was the best of the bunch, but even that one was just ok at best. They're clearly again using the season pass DLC as a method to address fan requested content as we've been seeing people ask for playing as the villains and seeing Vaas again for some time. My worry is, everything they showed of the season pass DLC gave the impression that the entirety of all 3 of those DLC campaigns will be in some sort of hallucinatory state, I saw nothing indicating that you're just playing as those villains in any sort of regular or "normal" context. You're right though, we don't know enough yet to form any sort of concrete ideas.

The best thing about all of it was that blood dragon bit. I may have to get a season pass edition just for that, once it's clear what exactly it's going to be that is. If it's a remaster of blood dragon, it'll be hard to pass up, that remains top 3 FC campaigns for me...

Unfolding within the minds of each character, the three DLC episodes feature locations from Far Cry 3, Far Cry 4, and Far Cry 5, and feature the voice talents of Michael Mando (Vaas), Troy Baker (Pagan Min), and Greg Bryk (Joseph Seed), who all reprise their original roles. Each episode challenges you to survive as long as possible; the longer you stay alive, the more perks and weapons you’ll unlock. Dying means starting over from scratch, but the knowledge and skills you’ve developed will help you push further into each villain’s heart of darkness.
