I think testing grounds is a waste of time

We have waited months for these reworks, and very little has actually been changed. What is the point of testing grounds other than stringing people along to make them play more in the hopes that they actually get the reworks for their hero.

For testing grounds to work, they need to be much faster paced, but they'll never do that because the development team aren't good enough to be able to make changes that quickly.

Ehm... They grabbed 4 of the weakest heroes, and turned them to be viable ones (and improve 3 okay ones to be good). Quite quickly, considering everything. They will now do the same for three more, removed one of the most broken feats, start to work on optionselects, and release a new hero. In the past 8 months, they corrected Warden, and reworked 2 of the weakest heroes.

    Everyone else thinks otherwise.

Yeah let's all vote against the testing grounds to make sure we never get any input or previews of what's to come.

Dude, this is such an ignorant, moronic, flat out stupid *** thread.

I can't even wrap my head around it. How can you be so dumb?

Are you just mad because your main has not been mentioned for a TG yet or what?

Mad because it takes time between a TG and the actual release of changes?

Like, what is it that you hoped to accomplish by stating the most ignorant thing anyone has ever said in regards to this game?

    ******g ridiculous.

I agree with you on everything you've said, the latest reworkings have been great.

I only correct you in what you said here:

The Warden's move kit still has bugs: The guardian still can't aim to move his shot forward with a heavy dodge, sometimes it is so bad that he will attack nothing in the space between his first target and his next target. This bug is very old, it has existed since before Valiant Breakthrough was introduced, the worrying thing is that it is still present in the game.
In addition, it still has some inconsistencies in his move kit (example: his second light attack still has a speed of 600ms, there should be no such thing as 600ms light attacks).

The rework of the Warden was bad, they turned a sword master into a rugby player, many were hoping for a rework of a real sword master, Covid is to blame for this + the developers needed to release a rework as fast as possible.

to be fair also PK needs some adjustments, like better flow from dodge heavies, better recoveries and better stamina use. At least they are in the right direction, I hope they further analyze some of the reworked chars.

I think a lot has changed, but some chars are almost forgotten. Almost because shinobi is confirmed, he will get a rework. There is hope , no need to be this pessimistic.

It wasn't perfect, and maybe it was not the direction some people hoped for, but it made Warden more fair without the backdodge shoulderbash, and made it fun to play too. The second light should not be 600ms indeed, but that is far from hindering Warden, who is not the best for 4v4, but according to Barak, was the second best duelist before the reworks (and now is at least the third one, the only one who might shake that position is Hito).
