FC6 will flop LIKE A LEAD BALLOON

The campaign seems lame. I saw its also politically incorrect, the story about a poor country trying it's best to maintain order, but the story is about bullying.

The protagonist is the bully - you are the bully, changing with force a secure passionate government who keeps order within Yara by forcibly destroying buildings, destroying statues, destroying political leaders and essentially being the most disruptive, rebellious character in all of Far Fry's history.

Your mission is to rebel against an established government and kill those in authority including the police, military and government officials.

This thread is going to be fun.

    (grabs popcorn)

The ''let's support the fascist dictatorship' thread?...

I love 'dismantling corrupt government' games, bring it on.

Far Cry 6 will have sucess.

People will play it again and again.
It will be the climax of all Far Cry games.

Far Cry 6 will be People's Game.

    Don't worry about it!

    As for politics....

    The game shouldn't be apolitical.
Apolitical game is like asexual person.

Far Cry should touch: 1) Global Politics (at least allegorically) 2) Politics inside the game. (among different fractions or imaginary countries, politics among characters)

Far Cry should touch the theme 1) Development of Society 2) Where are we moving.

The game should be like a "burning topic".
    Far Cry should be Spicy.

I don't know if it'll be a flop or success, but either way, when games start being PC I am hanging up my spurs. I was always drawn to non-PC titles like Postal, Carmageddon, Duke Nuke'm while growing up......Those were the days. Now get off my lawn.

What does that mean that concerns you exactly might be in Far Cry 6 (or not be in it)?

'Politically-Correct' is such a meaningless phrase.

Usually when I see that term used it's when people object that the game won't be as racist, sexist and/or aimed at their demographic as they were once used to.

However, reading about the games Postal and Carmageddon, which I was unfamiliar with, may I infer that you prefer that games do not hold back from depicting violence (blood/gore, etc) that the story genuinely implies? Many games remove blood effects to sanitise what is actually going on for fear of offence or to get a lighter age rating.

I've found Far Cry to contain both dark violent themes, but also lean in to comic violence (Guapo the crocodile comes to mind). The game's going to be rated 'Mature/18' surely?

Far Cry has also not shirked from addressing the consequences of unleashing mayhem and in the context of a guerrilla uprising, I sense some of those difficult questions will feature in FC6.
