Presumably you're also using Gunner spec to get additional rate of fire after a kill, and further increased weapon handling when standing still?Originally Posted by Cadillac-Jack Go to original post
Sad but true. You are so very right about this.Originally Posted by Sircowdog1 Go to original post
Oh god yeah who wouldn't use gunner spec with an LMG set upOriginally Posted by Sircowdog1 Go to original post![]()
Not only that you can get good stable distance with your LMG's as well, as an Example this 40 second clip with that set up and pestilence.

The shotgunner at the end has a tick of 740 K damage on him.
I was kinda basing this off Strikers, but one that didn't just waste your set if you happen to have a weapon that jumps a lot. I use bullet king lmg with strikers and its honestly hit or miss sometimes whether it wants to stay on target or be care free and traipse through the fields frolicking in the flowers.
I love playing Zane in BL3 and was thinking of kill skills when I was brainstorming this idea for a set here that I posted. We have sets that give you weird bonuses already so I figured why not a practical set bonus, that honest to goodness makes you more lethal as you kill, as though it were magic, hence Magos. The set would reward using slower fire rate weapons that hit harder, and using LMG's that can have extremely large ammo capacity, like say the Stoner LMG which you can get up to 250 with the right ammo pouch/box attachment. The longer you fire and keep killing, the more you regen ammo for your current magazine, not reserves, your current magazine loaded. Similar to Salvadore in BL2 where you could make a magazine last nearly forever if you kept up the push on enemies and played aggressively. Zane has higher accuracy and such for at max shields.
Honestly my other idea played the set name Magos into a different direction entirely based on the Decoy proxy. Where if you took lethal damage, you'd proc a blinding flash, a decoy would be placed nearby with 100% threat aggro, giving you the chance to exfil or maneuver to a better spot to armor up. With a modest cooldown of course, but one that can be reduced if the decoy takes lethal damage, and or you kill enemies that aren't currently targeting you. Call the set bonus Hat Trick or something like that.
Also thought about a set that could do like the old mask from Division 1 that was super bugged at one point which regenerated health for you when you were under a status effect. Like a 4 piece bonus for that could be any effect the enemy puts on you is mirrored to all enemies within so many meters and you regenerated health for the duration of the effect on you. Could even play REALLY well with Vile.
Idk. Just ideas.
I want to know if that reload was normal, or a 3rd reload from gunner.Originally Posted by Cadillac-Jack Go to original post
And no matter how much the pestilence ticks for, that slight waver when shooting is ALWAYS going to bug the living hell out of me. I can't stand it.
Yeah i think that was the 3 rd reload, as for the sight waver, thats console for you no matter how much stability/handling/accuracy you put on, console controllers have a stick drift, it's a fault in every controller and can't got rid of.Originally Posted by Sircowdog1 Go to original post
My highest tick is approx 1.1 million, but i'll take it with the drift/waver i learn to live with it, can't as above do anything about it.
The Unwavering talent offers a bit of this at a smaller scale. It doesn't regenerate ammo to the mag, but on a Vector SMG the reload at +300% weapon handling is less than half a second, so it's almost like having a huge magazine. The extra weapon handling also greatly extends the effective range of an SMG, making it feel more like a Police M4 AR with additional accuracy and stability. (I use an ACOG scope on it to bring up the damage curve a bit at range.) I've taken out groups of eight enemies with this in a single go if they couldn't find cover fast enough.Originally Posted by xJdKxZomBiE Go to original post
But maybe I'm missing something here with it because nobody but me ever seems to mention it, or use it in videos.
I play on PC. That drifting is an aspect of all LMGs in the game, but especially the Pestilence. No matter how much handling you equip.Originally Posted by Cadillac-Jack Go to original post
Well i didn't know that i thought it was the stick drift we have on console.Originally Posted by Sircowdog1 Go to original post
Hey ho no big deal though.
