So imma just start with what's obvious, "I WANT THE LIGHT SABER EFFECT BACK!"
but we all know why that cant happen, (copyrights bla bla bla.)
however, they did offer an interesting insight in to what the devs are capable of, that event showed that they can offer us, constant effects, situated directly on blades and such.

So here is what i pose, first off, lets add these "LASTING EFFECTS" ill call them.
these "effects" will be a new category of buy able effects, (for lets say 5-10k or so maybe 20k if u wanna be greedy af, people will still grind and pay for them even at that price i know i will), focused on the weapons of the character.
So the blade of Warden's sword for example or the ends of Valk's spear ect ect. this shouldn't be impossible since the devs have already done it and im sure are smart enough to find an easy way to code in a "Target_Blade, Particle_Generator_ bla bla bla".

NOW LET ME ADDRESS THIS REAL QUICK BEFORE I CONTINUE.

There should be a separate option in the options menu to disable these specific effects for those who are super competitive, back during the event there was allot of flashing and sparks from the clashes. this could be seen as distracting in a fight by some sweat lords so lets put an option for them to be turned off separately, in case they like the other effects like emotes and execution effects. (this should completely nullify anyone complaining about them giving unfair advantages or anything because if they don't like them just TURN EM OFF.)

THERE now on to some suggested effects.

ELEMENTAL BLADES: these should explain themselves, lightning wrapped or sparking blades, flames, poison even. just imagine the length of highlander's blade seething with Horkos fumes or someone making their Tiandi water themed, with the sea monster mask and their blade is constantly running/dripping or wrapped in water or bubbles.

IM SURE this isnt all that convincing to a corporation or the people who have to actually spend hours out of their day to work on it, but you know what is?

I personally know people, MYSELF INCLUDED, and have asked around in random dominion lobbies about the light saber effects, and many have said they would GLADLY PAY OUT THE *** for those effects.
lets say you do this, you add the new effect category, and slowly add in different effects, fire lightning water ice ect...
suddenly you add in "PLASMA".
its NOT a light saber, its a "PLASMA EFFECT".
all of a sudden the dough starts rolling in, hundreds of people flocking to for honor because of the YouTube titles, "THEY FINALLY ADDED LIGHT SABERS TO FOR HONOR"

Of course you've got your rear covered because their classified as PLASMA EFFECTS and they sound and look nothing like light sabers, because when the effects turn off there's still a blade there.

PEOPLE WILL FLOCK FROM ALL THE SAD STAR WARS GAMES, all converging here on for honor, all because u added some lines of code, that say "pay this much steel, and your blade glows."

This will boost EVERYTHING, it is NOTHING BUT PROFIT. player count UP, amount of people spending real world cash on the game, UP. people buying DLC. UP UP UP.

Its all green arrows aiming upwards UBI, DEVS.

Think about it, i rest my case, now its up to anyone reading this to spread this, i am but a lonesome creature who believes in having fun in video games and i have been with for honor since i first saw its teaser trailers...
