Hiding that bug eff ugly weapon.

Is there any chance we can get an update, where we can hide that big ugly Specialization weapon with some kind of toggle.

Most of the time they are never used anyway and they just look out of place their aesthetics are horrible.

Maybe it's impossible but it would be nice to be able to hide them.

    Thanks.

it looks horrible for sure. I long for the days when our specials were actually special. TD2 should of followed suit from TD1 and the specials should give us abilities, you know, something we actually use often. If i get really really "enhanced", i still hit both the buttons trying to use something that hasnt been in the game in years!!

Some aren't too bad, crossbow (not totally useless) folds up and sits fairly neatly on the side of a backpack. Flamer is pretty snug as well

Minigun (rarely used)also doesn't take up much room but the weight of that weapon system all over to the side shows its more of an aesthetic positioning than practical, launcher would have the same problem with weight and balance. Tac50 is worse in that it doesn't do a significantly higher amount of damage than the mantis, why go through a long swap animation that also slows down use of skills when you can plink heads all day long with an exotic.

I'm the same way. If you change the appearance of your backpack, you can find a sleeker model that hangs the weapons lower or closer in - so they don't stick out as much. Some of those long rifles or shotguns could double as a radio antenna for how tall they sit.

    This.

I personally use the green Hana-U backpack, since it has the smallest profile of all backpacks. Then again, I also use memento a lot....which can't have its appearance changed for some stupid reason.

i use said back pack as well but some of the Spec weapons still stick out like a Sore thumb (especially the Rocket launcher and the Tac 50.

Try the Wyvern "Pygostyle" - I think it's smaller. I use that or the Murakami, depending on the spec.

Transmog cant fix the Bulk of the weapon. That's the issue here people wish could be fixed. It's like the Blistering Sore Thumb that no one want to see.

I'd like it if they offered alternatives to the spec weapon. Eg, being able to choose a free 'core' (red, blue or yellow). If you're already at 6 cores for that colour, it could give access to a short-term, long-cooldown buff (overcharge for skills, some sort of toned-down Golden Bullet type buff for red builds, or a suitable 'bonus armor/hazpro and lots of regen' type buff for all blue builds).

Of course, it would take some balancing (maybe require spec ammo drops to power it or something), but at least it would be useful. Especially if they could bring in the ability to make spec branch choices loadout-dependent.
