I'm loving the MDR. It's one of my fav new ARs in the game. It is a great all-around rifle.
It makes me wonder if Desert Tech is paying Ubisoft. The HTI is the hardest hitting sniper in the game, the Recon A1 is very solid, and now this MDR is one of the better ARs in the game. And back in Wildlands, the HTI BDC was unstoppable. I'm guessing there is actually no financial relationship as the DT brand is not being used, but it sure seems like the Devs like Desert Tech firearms... which is ok by me! They make some great products IRL.

the same goes for the MK 17, the standard size magazine the MK 17 in the game has has 30 rounds but in real life due to the larger size of the 7.62 rounds this same sized magazine only holds 20 rounds.
I personnally don't use the MDR and never held a bullpup (a part at Eurosatory). So I went to the manufacturer website:
https://deserttech.com/mdr.php
So the version of the platform present in game is the MDRx? Fun fact, the platforms comes in .223rem or .308win, 6.5 Creedmor, and 300 Blackout... I wonder how the dev team choose the caliber of the weapons.
Edit: Quick rectification, it's .223 wylde, wich refers to the chamber, meaning that it can fire either .223rem or 5.56x45 NATO rounds
I wonder if you do so, just because it's an italian rifle (diciamo per preferenza nazionale) or really because you find it to be a better platform. If you had the choice between the ARX160 and ARX200, which one would you take (no the MG3 is sill unvailable)?Originally Posted by raptor2-40delta Go to original post
