Great work, they done it again...

Whatever these company's do on maintenance days don't help worth a S***!!! If anything they make things worse by avoiding what really needs fixed. Today I answered a call (which still is broke since launch) and get one shotted on heroic. Ok, I did come in when the mission was already in session. Spawn at safe house and port back at start of Union District Arena. I should of guessed... one shotted AGAIN! Obviously there is much more wrong that is and has been an issue for some time now. How does the same bugs come back over and over?

    WHERE ARE MY PROFICIENCY CACHES???????????????????

Long standing "issues" don't get fixed because there is NO ONE that can. There is a lot of shrugging and " well the rest of it works pretty good...." and that is the state of the game- the rest of it works pretty good.

Then you may need to change your build a bit with more armor. If you get 1 shot everytime. or change the world difficulty. I always have 170k extra armor on me, so I'll never be 1 shotted

you do know that the one shot kill prevention mechanic doesnt care how much armour you have , its based off your health , as long as health is 100% you can never be one shot , that is why hunter fury is so popular in part , every kills saves you from being one shot.

You are absolutely right about health. That's why I always have extra armor on me so I rarely come down to just health and can be 1 shot. and then I have gunner specialization that helps me even more

I think that N3mBot's point was that you can't be one-shot killed on entry to a battle. No matter how little health and armour you have, you start out with full health so the first hit cannot kill you. The OP was either hit twice, with the first hit at least breaking his armour and doing a little health damage (hard not to notice!), or he took some environmental health damage (such as from poison or fire) and was then killed with a high-damage shot.

Special ammo directive can arguably cause 1-shot kill (if the DoT finishes you off), but it would take a couple of seconds for its effect to work (and he specified DUA, neither hyena nor tusk special ammo does DoT). I suspect OP isn't being strictly literal with the 1-shot claim, though, and just means 'killed near-instantly'.

That's completely correct. And OP formulates itself a little incorrectly. It sounds like he's just showing up and he dies on a shot
