I'm still missing comms from those manhunts, like Keener's Legacy. Is it only possible to get those via the four specific targets, or are those all now in the final mission?

Bottom line is, Keener can be disposed of rather quickly, solo or coop, you just need to plan a bit, equip properly, and adapt the attack style to make use of all you have.
You need something to distract him and draw the fire (drone or turret), something to pin him in place (lots of options here, but personally I would prefer something that does some damage, like stinger hive), and a high DPS gun, preferably with DTA.
The best is to play aggressive and finish quickly before he makes full use of his toys. Can also be done from cover+distance, but it will become a longer battle of attrition.
The "classic" go-at-him-with-the-shield will not cut it.

Protection from Elites build makes short work of Keener.

I never considered that - nice move. I did this last week with an M1a & AR, no skills. Stopped the rocket then some may say I cheesed it by going into the building for cover. Keener laid down like a dead weakling shortly there after. One thing I count on is the incessant, in the back strategy. The first part In the building was easy & going inside also takes away their go-to - back stabbing.

If I'm not sure what the game wants I improvise. In the Summit, the game give me a heads up for clearing a room from the hallway. It was fair from a back stabbers perspective. What ever it takes. Do unto them what they will not hesitate to do to you.

Did keener on heroic with all the modifiers active to make it a bit of a challenge, got through it fine grouped up for this seasons manhunt. Dont think it needs nerfing, but hes meant to be harder than a generic rogue agent etc as hes the big boss man.

Alternatively, they do matter, but so do others.

It appears that Ubisoft decided that they would rather release the next expansion in December 2021, rather than March 2022, and to do that they had to drop a season. As one of those people who missed Season 2 myself, I have a mild preference for the later expansion release myself (at least at the moment—we'll see how I feel when winter comes around), but I understand that others prefer the earlier expansion release, particularly those dedicated folks who are now repeating three Seasons that they've done before and are still playing.

Uhhh - There is another reason for skipping Keener's Legacy. It has to do with $$$. There was no 2nd Season Pass. Only 1st Year Pass and Season 3 pass. I expect there will be another Season Pass should they release one around Xmas time.

And now that I am realizing it, I figure everyone that bought Season 3 (for $10) got stung, since the only way to get Season 3 was to use "premium credits" which never go on sale, nor can be discounted like for example the FORWARD coupon wont work on in-game currency.

Incorrect. The season pass for Season One was included with WoNY. Season pass for season two onwards required a purchase. Any season pass for the original season is also valid for its re-run - i.e. One = Five, Two, Three = Six, Four = Seven.

Well, "stung" in in the eye of the beholder, I suppose. I got both the game and the expansion so cheaply (about $10 each) that I don't feel another $20 on premium credits for a couple of Season Passes is a big deal, and it does help to show Ubisoft that I want them to continue developing the game in a cheaper way than spending full price for it.

I do not recall one for season 2 which I completed. I do recall that 3 certainly had one - and is active now for the replay.
