    FC6 realism

Hello, please can we expect somehow similar as the below written realism behavior in Far Cry 6? Because in comparison to Far Cry 2, all successors (I played them all) are trash for lack of realism in game. Very logic things then dont work in game, poorly.

    Why please?
Will there be similar physics/mechanics/realism like in Far Cry 2, this time and after more than 10+ years brought to completely new level please?
Please dont release same trash physics/realism as in FC5 and older.
    Thank you very much.

    FC2/Dunia Engine:

The game has realistic features such as weapon degradation and the dynamic weather system. The player needs to hold a physical map and use a handheld navigation system (which highly resembles a military-type GPS) to get around, but they are automatically updated as the player travels through the environment. The player is able to tag certain objects and locations such as cars, sniper towers, ammo pickups and buildings, so that they are able to monitor them on their map. When vehicles are damaged the player must perform a short repair animation, involving the tightening of one of the bolts on the radiator (assault trucks), headers (buggy) or other interior part with a ratchet. The player must also deal with different levels of malaria. Every 30 to 40 minutes in real time, the player must take a pill in order to combat the blinding and potentially deadly effects of the illness.

The Dunia Engine allows complex sequences and run-events during gameplay; the game features a day-and-night cycle, as well as tree and vegetation regeneration.[8] A unique fire propagation mechanism, which allows a small fire to spread and eventually cause large brush fires, may be used either to the player's advantage during combat or against the player. The behavior of fire is dependent on factors such as wind speed, wind direction, rain, and vegetation type. For example, a fire may not spread as easily in a lush, moist jungle environment compared to dry, grassy plains and savannahs.

Several species of animals can be encountered in the game, and are able to distract the enemy as well as make them aware of the player's presence.[9] All the large animals in the game are grazing herbivores, such as zebras, wildebeest, gazelle, buffalo, impala, and gemsbok. Also domestic animals such as goats and chickens can be found. None of the wildlife found in the game pose any direct threat to the player. Enemies encountered speak four native African languages, namely Afrikaans, Pulaar, Sotho, and Zulu.

FC2 set the bar very high, only to be, perhaps, surpassed by FC5.

I'm afraid we're going back to the likes of FC3 tbh which isn't good news, but at the very least I'm expecting the, regardless simple, so much needed (at long last) balistics from FC5 (sighly improved if possible), and the new mix of urban zones with jungles.

And what about prone. Are we ******g getting prone already?, Ubisoft?, because if they add that then sniping is going to be crazy fun at long last. Prone is also needed to avoid being shot when covered behind small stuff, but we won't get the damn prone feature ******* it.

Also, I don't expect FC6 to have better ost than fc5. Well I guess this is pretty obvious so needless to go further on that subject.

I'd kill for a FC2 remake after this one, with todays tech and FC5 balistics. Damn those places you had to go in each mission were so incredibly designed, let alone the car scrapyard and that Village that went uphill. Imagine all of that with the new updated engine for fc5-6.

    Realism?

This is a game with Macarena CD weapons and personal attack crocodiles.

I think you're looking in the wrong place.

This is not a military sim.

So true and exactly what I meant. I am really not sure why they left this very very fantastic style and rather going more arcade. So sad.

FC2 successor "refreshed to these days" would be awesome and one and only in gaming world. New Jewel.

Please read my first message again and carefully instead of commenting at any cost. Nobody is saying anything against crazy weapons or crazy animals.

This topis is about something completely different.
Following the topic carefully will give you a chance to comment properly.
    Thanks.

ok, I read your post again, though I find the detail of your argument unclear - that may just be me.

You seem to be concerned about 'trash physics'.

I'd make the observation that this is not a simulator, so such authenticity will be a lower priority compared to the aforementioned weapons and animals.

Some note has been made in the recent gameplay about destructible environments, so perhaps the game does pay attention over and above what has been done in Far Cry 4/5, but I'd be surprised if it is such a big deal for Ubisoft as you may be requesting.

Perhaps the improvements that do exist, will satisfy you.

I am very happy there are many people who supports the idea of "best game to be the the best" including Ubisoft Support.

I really hope somebody from devs can take a look and improve the game significantly in this direction.

    Hello,

Thank you for contacting Ubisoft Support.

I understand that you would like to know if Far Cry 6 would go back to the roots of games like Far Cry 2, in terms of realism and the way the game works.

I sincerely appreciate your interest in this topic!

I fully agree with you, that Far Cry 2 was very ahead of its time, in terms of realism of the weapons, environment, etc.

Personally, I really loved the Weapons trade system, as well as the fact that the weapons could jam at any moment, and had to be maintained.

I can truly understand why you would want to see this in the newer titles.

We can assure you that the developers are doing their best to always build upon series, based on its predecessors.

However, while there is not yet much information in regards to this topic, I would strongly recommend submitting your suggestions and concerns, on the game's main forum page, as it can be reviewed by the developers.

Thank you once again for your appreciation and interest for the Far Cry series!

If there is anything else you would like to mention, or if you have any questions, please feel free to get back to us.

In the meantime, should you require further assistance, we remain at your disposal.

    Kind regards,

I've noticed that in your haste to defend absolutely everything that Ubisoft puts out you never actually read the OP properly.

I don't feel obliged to defend Ubi's games.

    Some I like, some I don't.

If I didn't enjoy a game I'd find it a nonsense to go onto its forum and post about it, what madness would that be?

If you had read the thread properly, you would have found that I re-read the OP and debated it further with the, er, OP.

I did read your follow-up actually and it's clear you still don't get where the OP is coming from.
