While yes, Far Cry 6 is returning to its tropical roots, I'd like to see ancient structures. Considering how past Far Cry games had always shown ancient structures, I'd love to see some in Yara. Since it located in the Caribbean, we wouldn't necessarily see the Aztecs or Mayans. it would be nice to see if there's some Taíno, Igneri, Kalinago and/or other ethnic tribes. They did show the Spanish voyagers who colonized the Americas, but it would also be cool if there pirates and easter eggs from Assassin's Creed IV Black Flag.
FC3 played the "ancient" card a lot through the bunkers, vessels, submarine bases and underground cities. I'm pretty sure we'll get some ruins in FC6 aswell.

Basically every Far Cry game except Far Cry 5 and New Dawn. I know. I just want to see more scenery in Far Cry 6. While World War 2 structures are seen in Far Cry 3, Far Cry 1 and Far Cry Instincts, I wouldn't mind to see cold war era soviet installations in Yara. Although I believe we've seen their presence in Far Cry 6's latest videos.

Have not seen the videos so i cannot tell but to be honest, the abandoned ruins and bunkers of FC3 were not very interesting to me but for the underground city filled with komodo dragons as part of Buck's quests. If they indeed have mayan ruins or abandoned bunkers, i hope those will serve as outposts or places with an actual role ingame. Not just a place with 2 crates to loot and snake.
