hmm interesting,
3 - 4.5 points in one race?...lets calculate:
1. icon level 9999 give you 333.3 % for followers (if all your points sets on popular at comfort panel). All car parts have followers increase bonus, and of course your magnet bonus is active;
2. next, calculate NY race followers: 42000 - reward on ace level, 2 - is coefficient from magnet bonus; 333.3% - followers bonus from pilot comfort panel, next, 42 % - this is bonus, that car parts gives to you if they all have follower icon). So , lets use main formula for calculating total followers number in one race : 42000*2+(42000*(333.3+42))/100 = 241626
3. for one level up you need ~43000 follower, and only every third give you icon point. So lets calculate: 241626/43000=5.62 and 5.62/3=1.87, game mechanics rounds to an integer, so its around 2 icon points!
4. put attention in summit for default you can get 300000 followers, and that give you only 2 points.
From game mechanics to get 3 point in every NY race your reward must be around 400000 followers. To get this amount of followers you need ~700% in pilot comfort panel for popular, but level 9999 gives you ~333%. Yes, we also know that after level 9999 game don't display next levels, but you will still keep getting points. So before level 9999 you can't get 3 icon points in every race.

technical calculations... it bores me out.
sorry for these calculations. Once upon a time, I also set myself the same goal as you, I wanted to reach the final level of 9999 icons. I even started to play hard, but I quickly realized that this was a bad idea. That is why I made these calculations. These calculations showed me that this is a useless goal, it takes too long. Unless the developers make it easy to level up, I don't want to spend years achieving that goal. Because new racing games will be released at that time, maybe even Crew 3 will be released.Originally Posted by brady2827 Go to original post
So some technical calculations can save you time!
Okay, now you can put that you got to LVL 9999 on your resume...oh wait! You actually can't because that achievement only has merit IN A VIDEO GAME! Hope you realize, in the grand scheme of things, how much time you wasted that you are NEVER going to get back. About two years of your life, gone! Hope it was truly worth it.Originally Posted by Beaugrand_ Go to original post
Bragging rights aside, what did you actually accomplish? To quote from The Amazing World of Gumball:
You earned the No Life Trophy.
We, the human race, wouldn't even exist without mathematics.Originally Posted by brady2827 Go to original post

sometimes with an extra hour
all that per day
i think i was able to do 7 to 8 pts per hour via monster truck 8x6 = 48 pts
30(days)x 48 = 1440
so about 1400 pts a month i do but sometimes id get it prob near 2000 with all the extra pts id make from race and summit event icon pts
1500 icons pts per month = in 7 months u have 9999
when they removed the ability to make this many points from doing monstert ruck i think i was at 8300 or 8400
i then did the races i mentioned for about same amount of time each day that i did monstee truck tho maybe 1-2 hour less per day maybe
and it took me i think 1 month an da half to get remaiing pts like that
if i ddint have the monster truck thing,
it would have taken me prob 2 years to get to 9999
since i started playing in may of 2020 i doubt i would have kept playing for 2 years
since its not that interesting of a game and one thats fun to play for that long
thats why i rushed it, knowing that the clock was ticking in terms of me giving up because of that
I don't need to be given these technical calculations, nor do I consider it a useless goal. It's a long-term goal, and I'm not going to be deterred by anyone on this.Originally Posted by izaruken Go to original post
Why would you want 9999 then? You'll obviously be labeled as a cheater or exploiter because, realistically, you'd have to be in order to obtain it. Doing so legitimately, would be the equivalent of having a second job. IDC how many Icon points you have. You'll still be grinding "ad nauseum" for a ridiculous amount of time. If that's your idea of "fun", it's no wonder a game like "The Crew" is so profitable...Originally Posted by LadyDormouse Go to original post
EDIT:
There is one particular Speedtrap that takes place on a highway in the center lane out of AI traffic's way. You could technically rig a macro and grind it while you sleep. Very slow progression but 8+ hours of doing that? Could be profitable.
FTR, I discovered the location but am not exploiting it. CBA to play this game longer than I have to to progress Summits.
