Motorpass prevents me from getting back into the game.

This isn't a concrete problem moreso than it is a complaint about the services The Crew 2 offers, specifically how the Motorpass is a serious issue in player onboarding.

I've been compelled to play this game over the past month or so, but I can't bring myself to because of one major fact: I missed the first Motorpass due to a myriad of IRL problems, and I'm now locked out of content permanently. This extends to all modern live-service games of course, but Ubi has a feedback forum so here I am.

Being time-gated out of content is a huge problem in many ways:
    1. I am not going to dedicate a larger install size to semi-frequent, large updates for content I cannot use nor have the means to obtain; it's effectively bloat.
    2. I am demoralized that there is content that I cannot obtain in any way even if I wanted to pay for it.
    3. I am completely disincentivized to begin the grind (and by extension, pay for future Motorpasses) knowing I've already missed the boat, in addition to the fact I may still be missing content even if I did pay should I not complete the Motorpass in time.

I paid $40 for this game and have an excellent opportunity to buy the Season Pass at the time of writing since it's on sale, but knowing that I will never get my full money's worth prevents me from pulling the trigger. I feel the need to express that being locked out of previous Motorpass content is a wholly negative experience from the perspective of someone who's missed out, and I have reason to suspect this may become a much larger problem in the future (especially concerning new players) as the game fills with more and more inaccessible content.

TBPH, if you haven't sold your soul to the devil that is this game, don't even bother.

...and to demoralize you even more: You can not get the vehicles that were exclusive rewards for the summit.

I understand your problem very well since I'm one of those players who are aiming at 100% in such games - And this is one reason why I'm upset about the motorpass since it forces players to invest more money for relatively little content.

My recommendation is to enjoy what you are having and try to get everything that comes up next. You started now, so it is not a bad performance of yours that you can not get all of them. If they do the same strategy as with TC1, there will be a point in time when they are rotating the summits and motorpasses from the beginning. Maybe you will get a second chance.

Just set goals for yourself. Get what's important to you and ignore the rest. Up until THE GAME, I spent my earned CC on the last three MOTORFLIX because it had content I really liked and didn't mind getting. I didn't need it though; I just wanted it. Enter THE GAME...pure garbage and an absolute waste of my time! Summit follower count and lots of Boosted parts, however, but the Motorpass content? Utter garbage. Going to save my CC for the next two, ...

AND THATS HOW YOU SHOULD APPROACH THESE FUTURE MOTORPASSES. How everybody should decide when it comes to the last two Motorpasses. Only get what's essential TO YOU, and ignore the rest. If the Motorpass doesn't have anything you want or the FREE tier gets you all you need, SAVE YOUR CC and show IVT that shoveling half-*** content in the form of a Motorpass just doesn't cut it! Then maybe they'll wake up and actually put some effort into things WORTHY OF YOUR MONEY!
