    Assassin's Creed Odyssey freeze

    Hi

    I have been playing Assassin's Creed Odyssey for about 30 hours now,but i am unable to progress.When i load in a save the screen freezes and crashes back to desktop.If i load an earlier save(14+ hours progress)i am able to play the game okay,so i don't know if my 30+ hours save game is corrupt.

    I have recently had to reinstall Windows 10 again,which was updated yesterday.And my graphics,sound and BIOS are all updated.

    I don't know where to find my crash log file for Assassin's Creed Odyssey.

    Please let me know what i can do to get my game working again.

    Hello there, sudsymalone. I'm really sorry to hear about these crashes. Could you let me know if you're seeing any specific error messages when these crashes / freezes occur? Furthermore, it's always a great idea to troubleshoot your system's performance by completing the steps found within this FAQ, so I suggest giving this a try.

    Hi Ubi-Wan

    I tried those steps in that FAQ that you directed to me,none of them worked for me i'm afraid.

    No i don't get any error messages when my game freezes.Just a message when i get back to Ubisoft Connect saying that an Crash report has been sent,and that it will help to sort the problem out in the future.

    Considering those troubleshooting steps didn't help you, I believe it's best for us to review your system files, as they may provide us with a clue to what is causing these crashes for you. We've not released an update for the game in a long time, so I believe we can resolve this with some troubleshooting.
